Where Are We? is the first episode of Survivor: Occultus Island.

Challenge

Challenge: Blue Lagoon

Bustle Tribes start out on the beach, with first 6 players from each tribe running into the ocean, swimming out to a net obstacle, climbing over, go over a barrel roll, swimming to a crate staircase and jumping off, swimming to the tribe boat, diving down and untying a series of knots, paddling back to shore, carrying a chest to the puzzle station. The three players from each tribe then solve their tribe's puzzle in the form of a captain's wheel. The first tribe to extend the flag using the wheel wins.

Reward: Tribal Immunity and Flint

Story

Day One

The episode started off 16 castaways blindfolded, sitting on a boat, in the dark. The boat is going high-speed and all the contestants have a look of distress on their face. The camera goes close to a girls face, an older woman, and she particularly is clenching her grip on the rail of the boat particularly tightly.

	“I'm so scared of boat rides. I got in a boating accident when I was little, and ever since i've been traumatized. I mean this is a game, and I can't let it get to me. But, I am really afraid. It's night time, and I can't see a thing with this blindfold on.”
Sharon

Sharon felt her stomach. A man sitting next to her patted her on the back. His name was Harrison.

Harrison Hey listen, it's going to be alright.

Sharon Heh.. Thankyou.. Whoever you are..

Harrison Harrison, my names Harrison.

Sharon Thank you, Harrison

A girl sitting across from them had a look of disgust.

	“These contestants are so dumb. They're being nice to each other before the game even starts. I can't see them and they're already annoying the hell out of me.”
Adele

In the other boat, an old man was seen throwing up out the side of the boat.

	“I really don't do well with boat rides. I'm old, and I get sea-sick. These blindfolds are a bit unnecessary, we can't even see it's so dark outside, even without the blindfold.”
Dwayne

Jackson Hey bro, are you alright?

Dwayne Coughs - Dwayne Y..eah, Just a little sea sick.

Jackson It's alright man, it'll be over soon enough.

The boats both arrived on the shore, they were mysteriously escorted off onto land, the boats drove away, the castaways took off their blindfolds. It was pitch black, and they all searched around finding each other. Suddenly out of nowhere a torch lit up.

Jeff Welcome everybody, to your new home. We here like to call it Occultus Island. You will be the only inhibitors of this whole island, nobody else is on it but you, when you are voted out you will be blindfolded and sent home. The jury will be sent to an exclusive area somewhere on the island.

The castaways looked nervous.

	“What the hell? I don't remember signing up for this, I mean I probably did but who reads those things.”
Patrick

Jeff It's night time, so for tonight you will all sleep on this same beach, tomorrow morning we will assign you to your camps with your team. Get to know each other, good night get some rest, you're going to need it.

	“I really like the people I see, hopefully nobody is mean or something. I don't like backstabbers.”
Harrison

	“I'm excited to get to know everyone, but maybe not. It's cold. I need to sleep, but I want to talk. I'm confused.”
Bahira

The tribes started to set their stuff down at the beach, all of them found a comfortable place to lay down. A girl named Pria layed next to a guy named Noland.

Noland Hey girl.

Pria Hi. It's Pria.

Noland Noland, I'm Noland.

Pria Nice to meet you Noland.

Noland Wanna be sleeping buddies? For y'know. Warmth.

Suddenly an older lady sat right in the middle of the two and began unpacking her things.

Monica Hope i'm not interfering!

	“I knew I was interrupting. I just, don't think I cared.”
Monica

Noland and Pria glanced at each other. Then away, and they laid down. A couple feet away from was laying down a group of four, who were eager and wanted to talk.

Olivia Yeah no way, I doubt you've ever been to Mount Everett.

Dominic Ah I swear to god, I actually made it to base camp! It was high up dude.

Colton That's so cool.

Thea I'm so fascinated

Colton and Thea noticed the sarcasm in each other's voices and grinned and started laughing, Olivia and Dominic continued talking, and Thea and Colton had their own conversation.

Colton I like you're sarcastic attitude.

Thea I like you're cocky arrogance.

Colton Why thank you.

Thea I think we should work together.

Colton I'd be down for that.

	“Thea seems deceitful, but useful. If we went with Olivia and Dominic, we could be a majority alliance, however that's a matter if we get on the same tribe.”
Colton

There was another group brewing, Adele, Yasmin, Roger, and Patrick, all 4 of the rudest people were all gathered talking smack.

Yasmin It's so cold. I hate cold.

Adele Exactly. They're trying to kill us.

Roger Does anyone even know where we are?

Patrick What if they kill us?

Adele That won't happen. There is literally cameras around us, it's a multi-million dollar foundation. They wouldn't kill us.

Patrick But what if it was a conspiracy?

Adele Listen, if you don't shut up, I'll be the one killing you.

	“I like Adele, she's feisty. ”
Patrick

The four began to talk strategy. Meanwhile Pria and Noland were talking again, Monica was still interrupting, a girl named Bahira walked over and set her stuff down.

Bahira Oh. My. God. Hi! I'm Bahira, how are you all doing?

Pria Hi! I'm doing good.

Noland Great.

Monica Fine.

Bahira We should like all totally align, we'd make a great team. Don't you think?

Pria That's sort of, sudden.

	“Obviously I don't want to align with them, I just need to like quickly get relationships set in case we get on the same tribe.”
Bahira

Dwayne and Jackson were talking to each other.

Jackson Ah! So you're that dude I was talking to on the boat.

Dwayne Yep.

Jackson Well bro, nice to officially meet you.

Dwayne You too.

	“I really like Dwayne, he may be an old grump, but he seems pretty cool.”
Jackson

Harrison walked over to Sharon who was sitting alone unpacking her stuff.

Harrison Hey.

Sharon Hello.

Harrison So.. how do you feel about this place?

Sharon It seems fine.

Harrison It's pretty late, you think we should sleep?

Sharon I'm pretty tired, so yeah, i'm gonna sleep.

Harrison Alright, me too.

	“Sharon and I talked on the boat, she seems like a fun person, I'm really awkward, I hope she likes me!”
Harrison

Day Two

The next morning, Jeff Probst awoke them, and told them that they would officially be joining tribes that day and going to a selected camp. Everyone was excited.

	“I've got to stay on the same tribe as my alliance. Otherwise i've got to build brand new alliances, and then it's going to get messy.”
Yasmin

They all drew black liquid filled balloons from a bag from Jeff. They were set 8 on each side and they were standing apart from each other. On three they would all chuck their balloons at the other person on the other person. It would then splat a liquid paint color on that person.

Jeff counted to three and everyone threw their balloons. Flat out chaos erupted, paint splatted everywhere, but on everyone it was clear what tribe they got.

	“I just like fricking full on got blasted with some blue paint, dude. It was sick.”
Patrick

	“So to my GREAT luck, I am on a team without anyone I talked to last night. I look at Roger, blue on him. Adele, blue on her. Patrick, blue on him. What's on me? PINK. I got PINK. I blame Pria, she threw it at me, she probably grabbed pink INTENTIONALLY. ”
Yasmin

Everyone looks around with each other, then groups of with the people with their paint color. Both teams look confident and are laughing about the paint on them. Olivia is uncomfortable, Blue paint is all in her hair.

	“Bad thing, I probably have blue hair now! Good thing, I got on a really good tribe, Dominic, he's a really cool kid, I'm glad i'm on a tribe with him, also Thea's there! ”
Olivia

	“I mean, all the people I tried working with last night, they all got on blue team, which in my opinion looks like a god damn power house. I doubt we'll do good, and i'll probably not last that long at all!”
Colton

The teams started to head back to their new camps after being given a map. The directions leaded them to their camps. Polvo all returned to camp, everyone was in a decent mood.

Roger So, I think we should all get to know each other.. Sound good?

Olivia Oh! That sounds like so much fun.

Adele It sounds immature. We aren't at Rainbow Tribe with unicorns and fairies like they were last season. This is a whole new element. This island is completely mysterious. We have to focus on our surroundings and how we're going to survive.

There was silence.

Thea Adele's right. This island is very weird, I mean there is tropical trees, but grass, but sand, but dirt.. but snow, but it's hot, but it's rainy, but there's sun.. I mean.. there's so many weird elements.. We have to plan what our camp's going to look like.

Patrick Okay, what do you suppose we do? Build a house?

Thea Nobody's asking for a house, but let's at least build something before we start on this "get to know you game"

Adele smiled, Thea had understood her.

	“I mean I was just standing up for Adele, she may look mean and rude, but she has a point. Last season I watched, Yucatan, it was way different, people on that season were relaxed. This is a whole new season, a whole new spectrum. We don't know what's to come.”
Thea

Patrick shrugged, Roger looked grouchy.

	“I can't be angry.. Can I? I just wanted to talk, and the people I was planning on working with yesterday all listen to this new "leader" girl Thea. I mean who does she think she is. She's basically trying to replace Yasmin. I need her gone so the group remains loyal to Yasmin.”
Roger

At the Estrella tribe, everyone was working on building their camp very hard and steadily. Noland and Jackson were talking together while trying to set up a tarp.

Jackson Hey bro can you help me over here?

Noland Sure dude.

The two guys began talking strategy while everyone else was working on different areas of the camp.

	“I think me and Dwayne got a friendship going on, and if I can recruit Noland, and then like Colton, and then someone else. Practically we could control the game at that point.”
Jackson

Jackson So what do you think about working something out between me and Dwayne.

Noland Is it aight if I bring in someone in on that?

Jackson I mean.. Sure.. but who.

Noland Pria.

Jackson Oh she seems cool, I don't see a problem with that.

Noland Alright cool, i'll go tell her.

Jackson No, let's hold off on that. We have to tell Colton first.

Noland Why do we need Colton?

Jackson An alliance of four won't work. We need majority.

Noland Makes sense.

	“I don't know what to do, Monica was nice to us and we talked for a long time last night, and making a large alliance behind her back would suck.”
Noland

Day Three

The tribes got up early that day. In tree mail they were guided to where their challenge would be. They all woke up, and then walked to the challenge. They were greeted by Jeff.

Jeff Welcome to your first immunity challenge

Everyone clapped and Jeff cracked a smile.

He explained the challenge and they all got in their spots. The challenge started.

• Roger struggled on the puzzle, Thea and Sharon did good.

At the loosing tribe Polvo everyone was scrambling.

	“I mean, man i'm really struggling. I didn't expect us to lose, and now we have to vote someone out.”
Patrick

Patrick, Adele, Thea, and Roger were all talking amongst each other. Sharon and Harrison went to Dominic and Olivia and were saying names.

Olivia Should we vote Adele?

Dominic I would say no.

Olivia What's your idea.

Dominic The strongest person in there group is Patrick. He's probably a threat. If we swap he could make it to the merge, we can't let that happen.

Sharon I'm ok with taking him out, however, they're probably all voting together..

Harrison Yeah, and then they'll probably make it a tie. That'd be bad.

Sharon Who would we get to flip.

Dominic I can recruit Thea.

Sharon Really?

Dominic Leave it up to me.

Dominic went over and talked to Thea, they walked for a while. It was time to vote, everyone walked to Tribal Council.

Tribal Council

They got to the tribal council. They set down their torches. Jeff welcomed them.

Jeff Adele how are you feeling?

Adele Coming into this game, I honestly felt like people wouldn't like me because of my mean personality, but I mean I got my girl Thea, she's got my back, I trust her, and she's made me feel safe.

Thea scratched her arm and glanced at Dominic.

Jeff Thea, how do you like the sound of that?

Thea It's cool to hear that I have an impact on someone.

Adele looked over and smiled at Thea and winked.

Thea looked worried and whispered into Dominic's ear.

Thea I can't blindside them, they trust me.

Dominic Trust me.

Jeff Olivia, how do you like it so far?

Olivia It's SO fun Jeff, I'm having the time of my life.

Jeff Harrison, are you worried by Olivia's excitement? Does she sound confident?

Harrison I'm not worried by it, I think she's just having a good time, we all are, sadly one of our good times has got to end.

Jeff Wow, I guess you're right. It's time to vote.

All of the castaways one by one cast their vote. It showed Patrick's confessional and Adele's

Thea didn't speak, she looked down at her feet.

Jeff snuffed Patricks torch and he waved goodbye.
