Profile

Vera Roché is known worldwide as the “Singing Grandma”. Vera, who currently lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, is a retired nurse who has had a lifelong passion for singing. In 2009, Vera created a YouTube page and she uploaded her first video which was her singing Buddy Holly’s song Everday. She became an overnight sensation from that video.

Vera says that she hopes that people do not get rid of her first due to her age because she thinks she can provide her tribe with wisdom and she says she is a great listener. She feels that those two attributes will help any tribe she ends up on.

Vera currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband of forty-three years Arnold. They are the proud parents of four children Arnold Jr., Max, Kerri, and Cody. Vera and Arnold Sr. also have thirteen grandchildren.
