Returning to the Gracias a Dios department, La Mosquitia features sixteen new castaways competing for the million dollar prize and claiming the title of Sole Survivor.

Despite being written from January to April 2014, this season's TV run takes place in the spring of 2014.

Twists

• Tribe Swap: On Day 7, the tribes will be rearranged.
• Jury/Finalist Configuration: La Mosquitia will follow the original configuration of a jury of seven and a final two instead of the final three.
• Hidden Immunity Idol: There will be a hidden immunity idol hidden at both campsites. Once used, the idols will not reenter the game and there will be no clues to the idol. Castaways must find it on their own.
• First Impressions: Right after arriving, the tribes will vote for someone. Instead of being eliminated from the game, the two castaways will compete in the game's first reward challenge.

Author's Notes

• I apologize to anyone that was following the previous version of this before it was deleted. My previous computer crashed and all my files were lost. I finally got another computer recently so I'll once again be updating.
• There will not be any returning players in this version.
• Also, the cast was cut down to sixteen so two other players were cut along with the returning players.
