Despite initially appearing as one of the smarter, calmer people on the initial Gouyave tribe, Shivani was shown to have an alarming lack of social awareness. After barely realising Jensen Price flipped on her post-swap, she pushed her luck at the Final Nine by holding onto her idol. At the Final Eight, she pushed her luck too far, thinking she wouldn't be targeted, and was blindsided with an idol in her pocket.

Claim to Fame: Growing up the only girl in a house of six brothers who are three sets of twins! Inspiration in Life: My fellow prosecutors, who do the job of protecting the community by putting away dangerous criminals. Every time someone goes away because of me or one of my colleagues, it inspires me to keep going.
Hobbies: I absolutely love cooking all kinds of food for my family, be that my husband and two children or my extended family of brothers and parents. I’m famous for my samosa recipe, which has been passed down through the generations. I can make a huge tray of them and they’ll be gone in half an hour!
Pet Peeves: Racism and intolerance of religion. As Indians and practicing Hindus, my family get their fair share of both and it’s disgusting. I also don’t like the commercialisation of holidays, even though I am not Christian myself, as it takes away from the religious significance.
If You Could Have Three Things on an Island What Would They Be and Why: 1) Supplies to make my famous samosas. The way to someone’s heart is through their stomach. If they love my samosas, they’ll follow me to the end, right? 2) It will sound silly, but some sort of hidden recording device so I could go back over the conversations I’ve had to see where things overlap and don’t add up. I’m good at detecting lies, but that would certainly help. 3) Supplies to create myself a sacred little space for my prayers. Practicing religion is very important to me. My Hinduism doesn’t stop just because I’m living on an island.

Reason for Being on SURVIVOR: My family and I watch this obsessively. I’ve applied to the show multiple times and I want to make them proud.
Why You Will “Survive” SURVIVOR: I lived with a tribe of my own at home. I know how to function in a team environment and accommodate the needs of other people, as well as the importance of a strong, cohesive unit.
Why You Will Be the Sole SURVIVOR: I know how to fight to win. I will do whatever I can to advance not just myself but my alliance, to put myself in the strongest position. Due to my family loving the show, though, I know they’ll be screaming at me if I screw myself by staying loyal, so I won’t be afraid to jump and cut throats if someone’s coming after me first.

- Shivani holds the record for earliest discovery of a Hidden Immunity Idol in Tangle's fanon series, finding it on night two.
- As a result of successfully completing the requirements of her Temptation in Lady Luck Knows the Queen, Shivani is the first person to possess two idols at the same time in Tangle's fanon series.
- However, she is not the first to possess two idols over the course of a season. That distinction went to Audrey Pearce in Survivor: Eyre Peninsula.
- Shivani is the third woman to be voted out of the game with an idol in their possession, following Audrey and Kimberly Harper.
- She is the second person to be permanently eliminated with an idol, as Kimberly re-entered the game through Redemption Island.
