Survivor: Montserrat[]
During the Schoolyard pick on day 1, Lloyd was picked by Ella Sing to join the Soufrère tribe, as she wanted another strong guy. Lloyd then picked Isabel May to be on Soufrière citing that she clearly hasn't spent a day of her life outdoors and that she seemed to him like someone he could easily manipulate. Immediately once Soufrière got back to camp, Lloyd formed an alliance with Isabel which she accepted immediately. Lloyd believed that she would never make a move against him and blindly follow him to the end. Isabel however stated in a confessional that she believed that she would be the one using Lloyd to get to the end.
Soufrière ended up losing the immunity challenge, which Lloyd didn't mind at all as he was eager to take control of the game. Lloyd and Isabel recruited Deanne Arbuthnot into their alliance. Lloyd wanted to also recruit Jason Drysdale, Pamela Roslyn, and Derek McLeod in order to eliminate Ella for being the tribe's weak link in challenges. Deanne however, wanted to get rid of Derek as she viewed him to be untrustworthy. After a short argument, Deanne eventually gave in and agreed to vote for Ella, but insisted that Derek only be given limited information. Meanwhile, Kelly-Ann Vnuk viewed Lloyd as being untrustworthy and wanted to target him. Eventually, her alliance which consisted of Ella, Carson Dupuis, and Doug Johnson settled on targeting Isabel as Lloyd was strong in challenges and the two of them were tight.
Lloyd then talked to Derek about voting out Ella with Isabel and Deanne, and Derek immediately agreed. He then also agreed to convincing Pamela and Jason to vote with them and that Ella would be gone, with which Lloyd was satisfied. At tribal council however, Lloyd, Isabel, and Deanne were all in shock when Derek, Pamela, and Jason sided with the other alliance and blindsided Isabel in a 7-3 vote.
After that first tribal council, Deanne was extremely angry at Derek for going against his word and went off on him immediately. Lloyd was also angry at Derek. Deanne however, also was angry with Lloyd as she trusted him and it was his idea to bring Derek into their alliance in the first place. Lloyd and Deanne both then vowed that Derek would regret turning on them. Deanne and Derek then started getting into frequent arguments at camp and Lloyd was visibly trying to separate himself from the two of them, stating to Doug and Ella that he was willing to vote either one out. Soufrière won the immunity challenge, guaranteeing Lloyd safety for another three days.
However, Soufrière would lose the very next immunity challenge, putting Lloyd in potential danger at the next tribal council. Lloyd found out from Jason, who felt sorry for him and Deanne that Derek's lies put Lloyd in the position he was in, that Kelly-Ann wanted him gone next. Seeing that there was no way into the majority alliance, Lloyd saw no other option than to try and bring the two other outsiders, Deanne and Derek, back together, as well as the swing votes, Jason and Pamela, to try and eliminate Kelly-Ann. Although Lloyd was successful in convincing Derek and Deanne to set aside their differences for one night and vote for Kelly-Ann, Jason and Pamela decided to stick with the majority alliance, sending Lloyd home in a 6-3 vote.
