Story[]

Night 12[]

Monarch Tribe[]

The episode opens to a shot of the clear, cloudless sky. The stars twinkle high about the Anambas Islands as the moon illuminates the water below. A quick clip is shown of a rat, coming up to the camera lens and giving it a sniff, before things focus onto camp, where Rick stands illuminated by the fire. He stokes the flames, backs off from the fury of the hissing sparks, then takes a seat on the edge of the shelter.

Rick: (Sighs) What a long night.

As he twiddles his thumbs, something catches his attention from the corner of his eye. It's Candy's bag, which she had been too confident to worry about taking with her to tribal council. He chuckles to himself, looks around, then decides to take a peak inside.

Rick: I doubt she has an idol, but you never know...

As he opens it up and shuffles through its contents, Rick pulls out a padded bikini top. He instantly smirks to the camera.

Rick (Chuckling): With as much silicon she has hanging from her chest, the woman doesn't need padded tops.

He glances back down, exclaiming, 'oh my god', as he reaches in and pulls out one of her bikini bottoms, also padded. Rick buries his face into his hands, cracking up with laughter.

Rick (Jokingly): (Shakes head) She really is an L.A. girl.

The scene changes as the moon is shown, slowly rising higher and higher in the sky, before things with Rick pick back up again, as he slowly and carefully makes his way through the dark jungle brush.

Rick: Ugh, I can't see a damn thing.

He walks over to a nearby tree, which branches jolt out from its top in a jagged way, making it stand out from the rest standing tall around him. He scopes it out, walking around, then kneels down and begins to dig around at the base; nothing. He wipes his hands clean, sighs, and continues on.

Anambasrick No one has played, or admitted to having, an idol. In this game, idols are the ultimate upper hand, so I'd be crazy not to take this evening alone to look for one. I'm a huge fan of this game, so as long as it hasn't already been found, I'm confident that I should be able to find it. I know what I'm looking for, a location that stands out among the rest of the landscape around it.
RICK

A brief montage is shown as Rick searches for salvation in the dark, looking at the base of trees, within hallow logs, under rocks, and along the sides of a small creek, but alas he doesn't have any luck finding the idol. He drags his feet slowly down a pathway, trying his best not to trip and fall, with his arms extended out before him.

Rick: I can't see anything.

Suddenly, the tree with the butterfly symbol carved into its side comes into view. Unfortunately for Rick, due to the darkness of the night, he cannot see this and continues on his way, right passed what he seeks.

Back at camp, Rick stands with his hands placed onto his hips, looking up at the Monarch tribe flag. He's more determined than ever to use this time alone to his advantage. Rick unties each corner, pulling down the flag, and walking over near the shelter with it where he wraps it along the end of a decent sized stick. Trying to create a homemade torch to light his way through the jungle, Rick dips the tip with the flag wrapped around it into the fire. It ignites quickly, burning and causing parts of the flag to come undone.

Rick (Startled): Ah, oh no!

The burning flag, which now drapes from the stick while burning, completely unwravels and falls into the fire, causing a large bright flame until the fabric burns away into ash.

Rick is left standing beside the fire pit, in utter disbelief.

Rick (Annoyed): You've got to be kidding me.

Astonished, he then looks up, having heard the muffled voices of his tribe mates returning to camp from Tribal Council. Rick dashes over to the shelter and takes a seat, looking as if he's been innocently awaiting their return. One by one the five other members of the Monarch tribe carry their lit torches from the beach and into camp. Each passing by the missing flag, most glancing up at the lonely poles as they do. Rick watches as Leroy leads the group back into camp, giving him a smile of appreciation, as he's followed by 'Ebonie', Candy, an upset looking Stacy, and finally Khalid, whom he had expected to have been voted out. Upon seeing Geoff was not with them, Rick quickly blinks, needing to have a second look.

Rick (curiously): ...Hey guys...

Candy gives him a smile as she sets her torch against a nearby tree, as does everyone else, Stacy in particular sets hers down with force. The rattle caused by this makes everyone's head to turn in her direction, as she camera hones in on Stacy's face; her eyes are teary, red, and puffy, as the snot running from her nostrils glistens on her upper lip in the moonlight. She takes her buff off from around her head and uses it as a tissue, blowing her nose into it. This causes Leroy to scrunch up his face in a grotesque way.

Already curious for answers to the most obvious of questions, as he hadn't been filled in on the plan to save Khaled and flip on Geoff, Rick makes eye contact with Candy, who gives him a subtle nod. She walks over near the fire, passing by Rick as she does, whispering to him, 'we'll talk later.' Hearing this, Rick tries to remain inconspicuous and looks to the ground.

Anambascandy Tonight I feel as though I truly made my mark on this game and solidified myself as a legitimate player. I've used what I've been told is my best asset, my mouth (gives cheeky look), and rallied up the troops to do what I wanted them to do. Blindsiding Geoff totally eliminates any competition I had on this tribe, and leaves annoying little miss Stacy left alone to flounder until we can vote her ass out too.
CANDY

Sniffling, Stacy then clears her throat, and walks over to where the rest of the tribe has gathered around the fire to absorb its heat and enjoy the light it throws. She paces around the outline of the group with her arms crossed, looking for a spacious gap to claim as her own where she doesn't have to be too close to those she's most hurt by at the moment. She she settles in to her spot amongst the group, she sniffles one more time.

Stacy: So, can someone tell me what happened tonight?

Rick, intrigued to hear for himself, lets his ears perk up. He too is interested in hearing.

Candy: You know why.

She says, smugly from across the other side of the flames. Stacy stares her down, slowly squinting her eyes.

Stacy: What's that supposed to mean?

As she says this, Stacy pivots, swaying from one hip to the other.

Candy: You and Geoff kind of tied our wrists with your wackiness at tribal council.

Looking bewildered, having no idea about what Candy's talking about, Stacy looks around to the rest of her tribe for support. It's now that she notices that none of them are looking in her direction. Only Rick, who's trying to figure things out for himself. As Candy smirks, a close up of Nubia, who's posing as her twin sister Ebonie, is shown.

Anambasnubia Stacy and Geoff's plan went directly against what I feel is best for my game, which is working with Candy. Once I was able to convince Khaled which way was better for us to go, he and I, along with Candy and Leroy, got together secretly before the vote to formulate our plan of action.
NUBIA

A flash blurs the screen into a flashback, revealing a black and white toned scene, highlighting a conversation from earlier in the night before the vote. In it, Nubia, Khaled, Leroy, and Candy have their first pow-wow together in the jungle.

Nubia (Quietly): We're fully in to vote with you guys, Geoff has to go.

Khaled nods his head along, showing his enthusiasm for the plan.

Nubia (Quietly): And I think that you both should know, Geoff and Stacy approached us earlier today too, about blindsiding you.

She says, nodding in Candy's direction, who scoffs and looks wildly unhappy.

Nubia (Quietly): So, that's fine, it shows you're cutting Stacy's allegiance just in time.

Candy (Sternly): (Clenching fist) I can't believe that little rat tried to make a move against me.

Leroy chuckles,

Leroy: Really? I'm not.

Everyone looks into Leroy's direction, but he only notices Candy's intense glare.

Candy (Quietly): It's fine, with Geoff gone, and Leroy giving Rick the exemption, she's truly going to have nobody. It'll be so easy to get rid of her next.

A quick clip is shown of Stacy, who's in the ocean with Geoff, laughing out loud.

Nubia (Quietly): With Rick being given the exemption, he's not going to know what happened. Lets just say that Geoff and Stacy had a major outburst in tribal council, trying to tear the elder alliance apart and get rid of Candy. There's no way Rick will side with her after that, she's dead in the water.

Candy looks over to Leroy, giggling.

Candy (Amused): And you think I'm the bitch?

The scene then cuts back to current time, which is currently in color, as we pick back up with everyone as they're gathered around the fire. Stacy pulls her crossed arms in closely to her chest, looking confused.

Stacy: What are you talking about? I barely talked.

Candy: (Scowling) But when you spoke, it said enough.

Throwing her hands up in confusion, Stacy exclaims, 'what?' Sighing, Leroy then takes over the conversation, rollings his head over to face Rick.

Leroy: Basically, what happened is, at tribal Geoff and Stacy openly started campaigning to Khaled and Ebonie to vote for Candy tonight, calling her poison for the tribe.

Immediately Stacy's face drops.

Stacy: No I didn't!

However, Leroy continues speaking, talking over her.

Leroy: So basically, Candy and I had no other choice but to make our own last minute plea to them as well. Stacy clearly didn't have the alliance's best interest in mind.

In utter disbelief, Stacy cannot believe the lies about her in which she's currently hearing.

Khaled: And obviously we chose to vote with them, since Stacy and Geoff proved themselves as so untrustworthy.

Stacy (Shocked): No... no. No. None of that happened. Oh my god, what the (bleep)? You're all lying.

Anambasstacyy Tonight I got totally blindsided, Geoff went home and now I have no one. (Shaking head) I don't even know why. When I tried to get the truth from my tribe mates, I got smacked in the face with an ugly truth, they're trying to set me up. I knew it as soon as I heard everyone jumping in on these lies, and right away my heart begins to sink, things are starting to look incredibly bleak for me.
STACY

Extending her arm out and acting as though she's enraged, Candy scolds Stacy loudly, earning everyones attention.

Candy: Stacy, really, just stop. I quite honestly think you've done enough talking tonight, my dear.

As her lip begins to quiver, Stacy finds herself fighting back tears, looking Candy right in the eye.

Stacy: Oh, (bleep) you.

She then begins to storm off, walking around the fire, but she then stops dead in her tracks, turns around abruptly, and points directly at Rick.

Stacy: And I swear to you, as unlikely as it seems, I am the one telling the truth.

Turning back around, Stacy stomps off in the direction of the beach, needing to cool off by her lonesome. Rick is left blinking, totally shocked with everything that has managed to go down over the last little bit, unsure of what he's to believe. Candy's laugh breaks the silence.

Candy: A woman of 45, ha, a mere child.

Suddenly, from the darkness, a shrill yell can be heard.

Stacy (Loudly): I CAN STILL HEAR YOU!

Grinning, Candy moves her head from side to side as she hollers back.

Candy (Loudly): I don't care.

Nubia smirks, while Leroy covers his mouth, chuckling.

Anambasleroy I was wary of giving up my exemption to tribal council, but I'll admit, things seem to be coming together pretty well because of it. Stacy's the clear next target and I'm on a direct track toward the merge. Best case scenario from here is if Whitney enters the game tomorrow, and our alliance can continue to dominate the game from there.
LEROY

The scene ends as the camera pans over the group until it focuses in onto Rick, who's still thinking about what he's just heard and witnessed.

Day 13[]

Isolation Island[]

As the sun breaks the horizon over the ocean, the dark night sky slowly fades to purple, before the golden red kiss from the sun illuminates the sky. The glow becomes softer and orange as the camera settles down into camp, where the three occupants of Isolation Island are awake within the shelter, stretching.

Ian reaches into his bag, pulling out his glasses, and putting them on as he sits up.

Ian: Can you believe it? We're finally here.

Both Whitney and Ebonie have smiles upon their faces.

Ebonie (Excited): I can't believe Nubia and I get to play together now. People are going to freak.

With a nod, Whitney motions over to Ian with a giggle and a friendly smile.

Whitney (Jokingly): What about you, ready to go down, old man?

Riding high on the feeling of today being the day he has been waiting for the entire time he has been on Isolation Island, even Ian finds it within himself to chuckle at Whitney's humor.

Anambasian Today's the day I've been anticipating for nearly two weeks, today is the day. I'm so excited... nervous. So much is riding on this opportunity, this chance for me to win my way into the game. I've wanted to play again since I left last time, but I never thought that I'd have that chance. The relationship I have with Whitney is really going to help me today, because I'm going to use that fire to kick her ass. (Laughs) There's no way, (shakes head) no, I refuse to go home to the likes of her.
IAN

It's now slightly later into the day, and the camera opens on Whitney as she's smiling widely, tying her hair into a ponytail.

Whitney: I can't believe the day of reckoning is finally here. You must be so happy to play with Nubia?

Holding a canteen, Ebonie, who's swishing water around in her mouth, spits.

Ebonie: I can't believe it's finally happening. I'm just waiting for, like, Jeff to come in on a boat and tell us Nubia was voted out last night, wanting me to come with him.

Whitney giggles,

Whitney: You need to stop, your anxiety is giving me anxiety.

Both laugh with one another.

Anambaswhitney Wow. I can't believe we're here, the moment I've been waiting for. I think back to Canada, and as many bad memories I have (laughs), I also have so many amazing, good ones. Doing 'Survivor' is a once in a lifetime experience, so to have the opportunity to do it again, after learning from prior (bleep)-ups... I'd give so much for that. I'm not ready for my experience with this show to be over just yet.
WHITNEY

As Ian folds his clothes, shoving them into his bag as he goes, Ebonie calls out for him. He looks over his shoulder, seeing both Ebonie and Whitney with their things packed and waiting on him. The boat to take them away can be seen floating in the water on the beach.

Ebonie: You ready?

Ian: Ahh!

He quickly goes back and forth from looking over his shoulder to rapidly folding. Whitney leans over into Ebonie's ear, whispering, 'typical man.' Ian finishes putting everything in his bags, running over to the girls.

Ian: Got everything!

Ebonie and Whitney go to turn around and leave.

Ian: Wait!

Both girls turn to look at him, confused. Ian looks direct

Ian: The Veto Amulet?

Whitney: (Nods) You win, I'm good for it.

Ebonie smirks.

Ian: Yeah, just hand it to me in front of everyone, that way they know I have it?

He doesn't look impressed. Whitney thinks about this for a moment, bites her lip, then snatches Ian's bag from him. He quickly shoves all of his belongings into hers.

Whitney: There, whoever wins, grabs this bag. It has both of our things, but most importantly, the Amulet at the bottom. Okay?

Ian nods,

Whitney (Excitedly): Now, lets go!

Whitney and Ebonie both run off down the beach, toward the direction of the awaiting boat. Ian sighs, turns around and looks around camp one last time, wishing it farewell, then continuing after the girls ahead of him.

Reward Challenge[]

Opening high above a giant field, surrounded by jungle, the camera pans high above todays challenge, where Probst stands nearby.

Jeff Probst (Loudly): Come on in, guys!

One by one, as the drum roll background music plays, the five remaining members of the Admiral tribe march into view from beyond the trees. The camera hones in onto sick Courtney, who drags her feet along, following her tribe.

Anambascourtney (Shakes head) I don't want my Dad to come back, I don't need him out here, and would prefer if he wasn't here. He and I don't see eye to eye very often, so I think being forced to play this game together would cause us to implode. I didn't come here for that distraction, I came here to win the money.
COURTNEY

They approach two sets of small bleachers where they're to watch todays competition. One is painted in the color red for Admiral, while the other is green for Monarch. As they climb up, the camera settles onto Colton as he gets situated.

Anambascolton I've been feeling really excited about the comeback. I think it's really going to shake up this game, and that's something Jessica and I could really benefit from. I just hope it's (bleep)ing good. Whoever's going to cause the biggest (bleep) show and firework fallout, is who I'm hoping for (crosses fingers).
COLTON

A close-up is shown of Colton, who's now smiling. Attention then shifts, as the members appear from behind the camouflage of the jungle, coming toward them in a single file line.

Jeff Probst: Admiral getting their first look at the new Monarch tribe, Geoff voted out at the last tribal council.

The faces of those on the Admiral tribe all say the same thing, shock. None of them can believe that who they had viewed as one of the generally strongest of the tribe to have been taken out. Jessica leans over to Colton, 'holy cow', she whispers. He shrugs, 'Ya lead, ya fall.'

As the castaways of Monarch take another step closer and closer, Candy can see the expressions of all the shocked people of Admiral, which brings a cocky grin to her face.

Anambascandy Today is a really big (bleep)ing day, (nervous chuckle) and I really wish I had a cigarette right now. Ah, man, I'm really to pull my extensions out, I feel like a wreck right now. My nerves are shot, so much is riding on this competition to re-enter the game. I really hope to see Whitney pull this one out.
CANDY

As they too climb up their own set of bleachers to take a seat, we watch as Khaled takes a spot, but then gets back to sit next to 'Ebonie'.

Anambaskhaled At the start of the game Jeff told us, if we could eliminate them all within the first four votes, we wouldn't have to worry about anybody coming back on day 13. However, having watched Admiral's losing streak, they seemed to only focus on getting rid of those who underperform, or who were sick. (Looks unconvinced) So, I really don't think we, as a group, did a very good job of knocking them out.
KHALED

As everyone on the green Monarch tribe gets comfortable, the camera switches to show Jeff, standing proudly before them with his hands resting on his hips. He raises his head back, allowing him to see their faces beyond the brim of his hat.

Jeff Probst: Welcome, ...to day 13.

The camera pans over Colton, Jessica, and Phobos' faces. Stacy and Leroy look to one another nervously.

Jeff Probst: On day 1, when this Family Affair twist was revealed, you were all given a saving grace. If collectively you worked together, successfully voting out the twins, and the three relatives to the returning players, no one would be left and therefore them entering the game would not take place.

Waiting for what Jeff's about to say next, Jay holds his breath.

Jeff Probst: (Nods) You did have some success.

This causes Jay to look a little more at ease.

Jeff Probst: Peter and Norman are father and son.

Courtney's jaw drops.

Jeff Probst: When Admiral voted him out, they also eliminated Joseph from the game.

Happy, as he didn't believe Joseph to cause many waves, Colton discreetly clenches his fist victoriously.

Jeff Probst: However,

This immediately causes Jay's more relaxed demeanour to slip away, as he once again grows more anxious.

Jeff Probst: That is the only successful pairing you managed to remove from the competition. That means today, the twins will be entering this game as individuals.

Phobos and Courtney look to one another, worried, but the camera then cuts to show Nubia as she smiles happily, not caring if anyone is to notice.

Jeff Probst: And the last two returning players, Whitney and Ian, will soon face off in a challenge. The winner will earn their right to re-enter this game and compete alongside all of you for the same million dollars that you're all competing for.

Rick face-palms as Khaled just shakes his head. A close-up of Phobos is shown, who looks grouchy.

Anambasphobos Yeah, one could easily sit there and say my tribe messed this up for everyone, but I think we were dealt a unique situation with the flu that we're still dealing with. Trust me, I'm just as pissed as anyone else that we have these two new people entering the game today, but there's no finger to be pointed in this situation. At least for the next two votes we have easy targets; boom, boom.
PHOBOS

Probst grins,

Jeff Probst: Y'all ready to get things started?

'No!', Phobos jokingly shouts from the stands.

Jeff Probst: One day one, two identical twin... sisters entered this game. (Motions to the green bleachers) Actually, Monarch, they started with you.

This immediately perks their interests as they start looking around to one another. They now know that it has to be either Stacy, Ebonie, or Candy. With panicked eyes, Stacy looks over to Candy, thinking something left unknown.

Jeff Probst: Every three days, after someone was voted out, they switched places. They swapped clothing, and had only a few minutes to brief one another on what they knew. Each twin has now had the opportunity to spend six days playing this game, and today, they both have earned the right to enter.

Before it's even announced, Nubia stands from her seat, clapping loudly.

Jeff Probst: Ebonie, come on out!

With a huge smile on her face, Ebonie runs out from beyond the trees, entering to the standing ovation from her sister. Ebonie waves at everyone as she comes up to stand beside Jeff. As she does this, every castaway left in the game slowly turns their head to look at who they've been perceiving as 'Ebonie' for the last few days. A close-up of Khaled is shown, who looks absolutely stunned.

Excitedly, Nubia jumps down each row of the bleachers until she reaches the ground, running over and giving Ebonie a hug. Both girls squeeze one another, as they quietly whisper their cheers to one another. various 'oh my god's' and 'we did it's' are audible. As they let one another go, Nubia takes one look at Ebonie's face.

Nubia: Stop crying.

Ebonie looks up, seeing the tears in Nubia's eyes.

Ebonie (Giggling): (Wiping away tears) You stop crying.

Leroy watches the reunion, smiling the entire time. However, most faces on the Admiral tribe don't look so kind.

Jeff Probst: Ebonie, you may rejoin your tribe, Nubia, I'll get you to stay here for one moment.

Nubia nods as Ebonie gives her nose a wipe on her sleeve, then runs over to join the open arms of her tribe; 'Welcome back!' is heard from Khaled.

Anambasebonie I'm so happy to no longer have the stress of this secret weighing on me. I feel like I've had a thousand pounds lifted off of my shoulders, and now I can play this game a lot more freely, now that I don't have to be so worried about clashing with anything that Nubia may have said. I am excited to be playing this game with my sister, I know that it'll put a huge spotlight on us, but I came here for to play, so bring it.
EBONIE

Ebonie can be seen smiling, as she has almost every hand on her tribe patting her shoulders.

Jeff Probst: Whitney, Ian, come on out!

Just like Ebonie before them, Whitney and Ian appear from behind the trees and walk out before the castaways. They wave and try to appear friendly, but they receive almost only blank, cold faces.

Jeff Probst: After making it twelve days into this game, today it's coming to a end for one of you.

Whitney looks to the ground as Ian exhales a long breath.

Jeff Probst: So, lets get to the answer of that right now.

Ian nods,

Whitney: Lets do it.

Reward Challenge: A Leg Up
Survivors must balance a ceramic vase on the end of a balance beam with one leg. When they can no longer take the pain or they lose their balance, their vase will drop and smash, eliminating them. The last person left wins.

Challenge Highlights:

  • Although Whitney struggles throughout the competition, it's Ian who loses and is eliminated, after having lost focus.
  • After Whitney won, Candy exclaims 'YES!', outing herself as Whitney's mother.

Both Whitney and Ian reassemble in front of Jeff. Elated, Whitney's legs shake as he bares a ginormous smile upon his face, all while Ian looks as if he's in his own world. In the bleachers, Candy also appears to be shaking with excitement, clenching onto Leroy's hand. On the Monarch tribe, Courtney can be seen breathing a sigh of relief. Attention then cuts back to Jeff, who stands with Nubia, a few feet away from Whitney and Ian.

Jeff Probst: Ian, after thirteen days in this game, it is coming to an end.

A small fire burns nearby, in the direction of the path in which Jeff points.

Jeff Probst: Throw your buff into the urn on your way out, (nods) it's time for you to go.

Saying no words, leaving with only a long breath. As he turns, Ian takes this moment to look up to see his daughter, who he had not seen in over a year. This is when he finally smiles.

Ian: Bye Courtney, good luck in this.

He then turns and begins to walk away, as Courtney is left looking mortified as Phobos turns and looks at her, while Jessica is whispering into Colton's ear. Even Candy, on the Monarch tribe, is happy to see another potential target planted into the game to distract. Taking his buff off, Ian drops it into the flames, not bothering to watch, doing it as he passes by, eventually disappearing into the jungle.

Jeff now stands before the two tribes, with Nubia on one side of him, and Whitney on the other. He asks for the tribes to come from their seats and gather on their specified tribe colored mats, both at the base of their bleachers. They obey, assembling into place.

Jeff looks over to Nubia,

Jeff Probst: Nubia, ...(looks over to Whitney) Whitney, the both of you have finally won the right to compete this season.

Whitney looks over to her mother, sticking her tongue through her smile, still beaming with delight.

Jeff Probst: However,

Nubia's face tilts to the side, as she gets caught off guard.

Jeff Probst: It's time for this games third and fourth Butterfly Effects. A decision is to be made, one by each of you.

Both Nubia and Whitney look passed Jeff and over to one another, seeming surprised and excited.

Nubia: No way!

Whitney: Ah! (Giggles.

From the Monarch mat, Candy face-palms.

Jeff Probst: You're both about to be presented with two options, and you'll each choose one. The answers you give to these questions will not only effect how the rest of your games play out, but how it's going to play out for everyone here. It's essentially the future of this entire game you're deciding in this moment.

From Monarch's mat, Ebonie doesn't look happy.

Jeff Probst: Nubia, the first question I have is for you.

She cringes, worried about what it could be.

Jeff Probst: At this point in the game, we've spent thirteen days of this game playing as the two current tribes; Admiral and Monarch.

Nubia: (Nods) Yes (nervous chuckle).

On the Admiral tribe, Phobos, the conspiracy theorist, gasps, turning to his tribe and whispering, 'three tribes!'

Jeff Probst: It is your decision: Do you want to keep the tribes as they are, or do you want for there to be a tribe swap?

'Oh my god!', is shouted from the castaways, as both tribes look shocked. Even Whitney looks nervous, in an amused tone, she giggles, 'oh no', under her breath, scared of what she may be asked of.

Nubia (Nervously): Um...

Her eyes scan over the faces of the two tribes, seeing Candy with her face in her hands, Khaled seeming indifferent, Jessica looking as though she's interested, while Courtney shakes her head. Nubia looks over to her sister, Ebonie, then over to Candy and Leroy.

Nubia: No... no, I'm going to keep them the same.

From the Monarch tribe, Ebonie gives her sister a nod, while mostly everyone else around them breathe a sigh of relief. That is except for Jessica, who turns to colton, mouthing, 'would've been nice'.

Anambasnubia Right now, things are set up well for Candy, Leroy, Ebonie, Whitney, and I. Why would I want to break them all up? Between that, and the looks of dread on everyones faces, of course I wasn't going to swap the tribes.
NUBIA

Whitney grits her teeth as Jeff turns to look at her.

Whitney: Hey.

He grins, flashing his dimples.

Jeff Probst: Whitney, with these two tribes staying as they are, and as the challenge winner today, this question is for you; Which tribe do you wish to be on?

Shocked that she'll have the power to place herself onto a tribe, Whitney's jaw drops, but she quickly covers it with her hand. From the Monarch mat, Candy grins.

Jeff Probst: By making your choice, you'll be sending Nubia to the opposite tribe.

Nubia's head whips into Whitney's direction. Looking back and forth between Admiral and Monarch, it doesn't take long for Whitney to make up her mind.

Whitney: Um, I'm going to pick the green tribe, Jeff.

Hearing that her daughter is joining them, Candy's face lights up. Jeff then tosses her a buff.

Jeff Probst: Whitney, you are now a member of the Monarch tribe.

Whitney: Thanks Jeff,

She smiles, then looking excitedly at her new tribe, Whitney runs over to them. She's greeted by enthusiasm and a group hug. Nubia is left next to Probst, looking frustrated. As Whitney takes her place in line, pulling her buff down over her head and to her neck, flipping her hair over it, Candy can't wipe the smug look off of her face. As Jeff tosses Nubia her new, red buff, she gives a phoney smile.

Jeff Probst: Nubia, you are now a member of the Admiral tribe.

She walks over to the mat of her new tribe, and just like Whitney, is greeted with open arms. Ebonie glares over, noticing her sisters lack of outward excitement.

Anambasnubia So the people I just kept together on the same tribe, because they're my only allies in this game, are now all my opponents. Of course I'm pissed off. I've been so excited about getting to this point in the competition, that to have it start like this is a real downer. I might be a lot of things, but dumbass isn't one of them, (nodding) I know I'm in trouble.
NUBIA

Monarch Tribe[]

It's a beautiful day over the Anambas, as there isn't a cloud in the sky, allowing the sun to beam down onto the beach in full force. A few shots are shown of some waves breaking out just off shore, before the scene cuts to show as the now seven remaining castaways of the Monarch tribe return to camp. The group is lead by Candy and Whitney, who's arms are linked. Whitney doesn't hide her excitement about being back in the same, smiling, humming, and skipping the entire way. Ebonie sets down her things near a stump, wanders aimlessly for a moment, then takes a seat.

Khaled comes up to her,

Khaled (Amused): Okay, not going to lie, you had me totally fooled.

He takes a seat as Ebonie gives a false grin to hide her nerves.

Anambasebonie Nubia entering the game puts me in a precarious position. The next few steps I take, over the next few days, will perhaps be the most crucial to my survival long term. I think that I've finally found myself in a solid group however, so that makes me hopeful that my future is a bright one.
EBONIE

The camera focuses onto Khaled, then cuts to show Leroy, Candy, and Whitney laughing with one another, highlighting said 'group'. Focus then changes, as the screen pans across camp to show Stacy, standing by her lonesome near the shelter, while changing shirts. She sighs, aggressively putting what she just had on into her bag of possessions. With a final huff, she crawls inside to lounge in the shade.

Anambasstacyy Of course Whitney is Candy's daughter, and of course she won her way back into the game. I mean, (sarcastic giggle) why wouldn't she? Everything has been falling apart around me, it's to be expected that this too went the worst way imaginable. I've worked too damn hard to get here, and have been living a whole extra week of starvation than these people, so even though things continue to look grim, I'll never give up.
STACY

With a smile, Whitney walks over to the shelter where she sees Stacy by herself, and extends her arm.

Whitney (friendly): I'm sorry, this last hour has been a whirlwind; what's your name again?

Stacy shakes Whitney's hand, 'Stacy'; She could've used a friendlier tone. While this interaction takes place, Candy can be seen giving a dirty look in the background, but as Whitney turns around and walks back over to her mother, Candy's face quickly lights up again with a smile. As Whitney rejoins Candy and Leroy, Candy speaks through her teeth.

Candy (Whispering): Yeah... just so you know, we don't really interact with that one over there.

'Oh', Whitney mouths, quickly coming to learn the dynamics of her new tribe. Leroy then breaks the awkward air around camp.

Leroy (Cheery): Would you like a camp tour?

Whitney (Excited): I'd love one!

Anambaswhitney At this point in the game, back in season two, is when I took the cash and left. Season six? (Nods) Season six is a lot different, and I think it's almost poetic that I get to pick up exactly where I left off. I've learned a lot from my past mistakes, about myself, and people in general, and I genuinely do want to make the most of this second chance.
WHITNEY

Whitney looks around, taking in the humble surroundings of her new camp. The shelter is less desirable than the one she had during her time in Canada, the sack of rice they received is far more diminished than it should be by day 13, the fire is only smouldering, and the overall appeal of camp is dingy. But, she doesn't care, Whitney's just happy to be back in the game.

Whitney (Jokingly): My Mom must be the housekeeper around here, is she?

As everyone laughs, Candy keeps a straight face, just glancing over to Whitney, who smiles. Soon after Whitney is bombarded by questions; Leroy wants to know all about Isolation Island, while Khaled, the super fan, wants to know what Ian was like, along with her own behind the scenes stories from Survivor: Canada. Shortly after, in her typical manager type of way, Candy interrupts and shuts down the Q&A, asking that they give Whitney time to relax.

Candy: Would you like a tour?

Whitney's face lights up, 'I'd love a tour!', she exclaims. As Candy goes to lead the way, Whitney looks down, noticing her mothers wedged platform sandals.

Whitney: Mom, you're kidding!

Quickly noticing what Whitney's looking at, Candy sighs, admitting her mistake on day one. Whitney face palms, asking if it's all she has had this whole time. Regretfully, Candy admits that it was. Whitney grabs her bag, rummages through it, and hands her Ian's extra pair of sandals.

Whitney: Here, Ian gave me his things, you could use these more than me.

She says, referring to the items she shoved into her possession herself. Candy sits on the edge of the shelter and takes off her wedges. Candy sits on the edge of the shelters platform, where Stacy glares from within, and his handed the shoes to change into from her daughter. As her mother takes off her sandals, Whitney can see just how calloused and blistered her mothers feet are. However, acting as a champ, Candy remains unfazed while changing, only commenting on how good of a tip she's going to have to give her pedicurist. Leroy looks down, grunting, 'ugh, same'.

Suddenly, the tribes chicken walks passed, clucking away.

Whitney (Surprised): You guys just let him run free like that?!

Leroy (Chuckling): Her. And yes, (laughs) she knows where the food is.

Whitney (Jokingly): Yeah, walking right passed out feet.

Leroy stares at Whitney, to which Candy awkwardly intervenes.

Candy: (Shakes food) Not food, she's the tribe pet; meet Trixie.

Leroy: Layla.

Candy rolls her eyes, turning her head at her daughter.

Candy (Fakely friendly): Layla (smiles).

Candy, Whitney, and Leroy stand silent for a moment, as the camera watches Layla the chicken walk across the screen. The entire time we can hear clucking noises.

The camera then pans around camp, as the excitement fades, everyone begins to settle into typical routine. Leroy, Whitney, and Candy however, still stand around the shelter conversing. Whitney unscrews the lid to her canteen, tilts her head back, and drinks the final gulps she has. Finishing with an 'ah', and wiping her mouth, Candy asks if she'd like to finally get to the tour of camp. Whitney smiles, saying she would, then holding up her canteen and requesting to know where the water well is.

Candy: You need you boil it first.

Whitney gives her mother a look of disbelief.

Whitney: Mom, I know.

Khaled, who's prepping wood for the fire, overhears this and glances over. He can't help but smirk, entertained.

Anambaskhaled Whitney coming back into this game works out so well for me. Not only is she a number for this new alliance I seem to find myself in, but also, between, Candy and Whitney, Candy and Leroy, and the twins, there are so many bigger targets to worry about than myself. I started this game at the bottom, but I think this is the start of a new phase of my game, the phase where I actually have been dealt a hand that I can work with.
KHALED

preparing to leave, Candy, Whitney, and Leroy all grab their canteens and begin walking together in a small group down a pathway, leading into the dense jungle terrain. Khaled finishes chopping the wood he has, examining the file he has created. He's not happy, shaking his head, claiming that there isn't enough. Wanting to make quick work, he asks Ebonie if she'd accompany him to gather some more wood. She welcomes the offer and they too also go off onto their own. Rick, who sits on the shelter holding a sock in one hand and brushing his foot clean with the other, and Stacy, who's sitting by the fire deep in thought, are left as the only two in camp. Stacy turns around, peering over her shoulder, noticing Rick's solemn presence. She stands and walks over to him, sitting down.

Stacy (Whispering): Now that we're alone, could I talk to you?

Rick's eyes look from the bottom of his foot and up to Stacy's face.

Stacy (Whispering): I know you're going to believe whatever you're going to believe, but I want you to know that I'm telling you the truth.

She remains incapable of reading a single expression, as Rick stays blank.

Stacy (Whispering): I just think that you need to be careful. They're cutthroat, and, and..., they're all in on this scheme to taint my image. Clearly if I was to go, you'd be next.

Rick (Whispering): Maybe. There's also plenty of other threats.

Stacy (Whispering): But, is that risk worth one million dollars?

Rick goes to rebut, but Stacy speaks over him.

Stacy (Quietly): -and Candy just got her daughter back, and that's huge.

Bowing his head, Rick sighs, knowing that much is true.

Anambasstacyy Rick and I used to be in the same alliance, and technically I never double-crossed him, so, maybe he'd still trust me? That's my only workable option right now, it's Rick, the one guy no one totally knows where he's at. Rick may be a wildcard, but I know he's a huge fan of this game, just like I am. If I'm going to resonate with him at all, it has got to be on a purely strategic level.
STACY

Rick pauses for a moment, holding his hand up to his mouth, rubbing his face, and thinking. Taking a deep breath, he shuffles around in his seat.

Rick (Quietly): Look, I'm going to be honest with you for a sec.

His eyes move from side to side, scanning to make sure that no one is around or returning to camp. The coast is clear.

Rick (Quietly): I believe you, I do.

Sighing, Stacy begins to smile.

Rick (Quietly): The way they all ganged up on you, but couldn't look at you? I knew. Besides, that reaction of yours, that was genuine... (shakes head) you couldn't fake that.

Anambasrick I told Stacy the truth because... it's her word against mine, and they already want her out, so (shrugs). With that said, I know that everything Stacy's saying right now is true, and it's ringing loud and clear. My only fear is the numbers, right now we don't have nearly enough people to pull any big move off. However, I'm sympathetic to Stacy's situation, so if she can somehow change that... I might be in.
RICK

She leans in closer,

Stacy (Whispering): Will you help me?

This time however, Rick doesn't answer back so quickly, staying quiet.

Rick (Hesitant): I'd be... open to the idea.

Disappointed, Stacy nods her head.

Stacy: you'd be open to the idea.

Rick: If you can get the numbers, sure, absolutely! But, (shakes head) I can't stick my neck out on the line to make this happen. Not this early.

Stacy (Curious): Do you think I could get the kids?

A quick clip is shown of Khaled and Ebonie as they pick wood up in the jungle, before cutting back to show Stacy and Rick's conversation.

Rick: You'd have to, there's no other choice.

Stacy sighs.

Rick: I don't know what your relationship is with either of them, but mine's nonexistent.

She looks dejected,

Stacy: Yeah, me neither.

Quickly glazing over, Stacy starts thinking about what she can possibly do.

The screen then moves on to the next scene, showing a far away shot of Leroy, Whitney, and Candy as they're gathered around the water well, before the camera cuts in closer. Leroy pulls the boiling pot out from beneath the waters surface, places the lid back on, then rests the pot on top of that.

Leroy: (Grinning) So, what are your questions, I'm sure you've been wanting to talk.

Still happy, Candy wraps her arms around Whitney, giving her a kiss on the top of her head. As her mother lets her go, Whitney gives Leroy a big smile and places her hands onto her hips.

Whitney: Oh my god, like, yes, so much so!

Anambasleroy I'm standing here with Candy and her daughter, Whitney, who I learned about, hmm, maybe... all of twenty-four fours ago. I'm not gonna lie, I'm still pissed about it. I trusted Candy, I was fully honest with Candy, but she kept me on a need-to-know basis, and apparently I didn't need to know. If she doesn't completely trust me, then I can't completely trust her. Buuuut... with Whitney here, this alliance is seeming pretty tremendous. So, I'll milk them for what they're worth.
LEROY

Right away, Whitney's face lights up, ready to hear what she's about to deal with.

Whitney: What's going on? What are the dynamics, who's with who, just tell me, what do I need to know? I'm all ears.

Smirking, Candy proudly glances from her daughter over to Leroy.

Leroy: Well, (chuckles) your mother is a total bad ass-bitch, and she proved that last night.

Giggling, Candy jokingly curtsies, as Whitney flicks her wrist, ensuring Leroy that she already knew that much. Starting with the events from the previous tribal council, Leroy works his way backwards, highlighting anything that he deems as being important for Whitney to know, with the help of Candy who jumps in from time to time to add her own little details that she believes to be key. The whole time Whitney listens intently, looking amused, impressed, and relieved.

She laughs, pointing to her mother.

Whitney: I honestly didn't even know if she'd be able to survive her first vote,

Leroy laughs out loud, while Candy remains stoic.

Whitney: So, honestly, I was only half sure I'd have the opportunity to compete to re-enter the competition.

Leroy: ...Good thing we only attended one vote.

Whitney: Right?!

Both Whitney and Leroy burst out laughing with one another, while Candy remains quiet, smiling.

Candy: (Bleep) both of you.

After having a moment to calm down, digesting the information that has been passed on to her, Whitney asks where from here Leroy and her mother believe they should go. Candy insists to Whitney that they're currently the three at the top of the food chain, with both Ebonie and Khaled as numbers, and Rick as an easy next vote.

Leroy: (Nods) Yeah, if we lose again, he's gone.

The camera cuts to show Rick, laughing as he's apart of a conversation, then cutting back to show Whitney, who seems to be agreeing with what's said.

Anambaswhitney My mother is very much a type-A personality; an alpha. (Shakes head) I'm not surprised to hear at all that she has put herself into such an early position of power. As much as it might be benefiting her right now, I personally think it's way too early to be taking control. There's still 26 days left of this game... that's plently of time for people to have the opportunity to take multiple shots at her. Mom's done well, but set herself up for what'll likely be one of the first seats on the jury, if you ask me.
WHITNEY

One final establishing shot is shown, as Candy and Leroy continue to fill Whitney in on what she needs to know about what has thus far transpired, as the scene comes to an end.

Admiral Tribe[]

As the sun beats down upon the island, Nubia leads her new tribe mates back to where they've been living, gleaming as she takes in the sights for the very first time herself. She runs up through the sand and into camp, cheering and hollering, coming to a stop and looking all around in excitement as those around her settle back into their familiar surroundings.

Jessica: (Smiles) Well, ...welcome home!

She says, passing by Nubia, placing her bag down next to a stump.

Nubia (Enthused): Thank you!

Putting his shirt on, Colton smirks,

Colton (Interested): Who has the better camp?

Nubia: (Laughs) Isolation Island.

Looking amused, Colton nods his head, 'hm.'

Anambasnubia I'm really excited to finally be on my own tribe, so that's the energy that I'm channeling, because right now I'm also feeling some other type of (bleep)in' way. I think I could already be screwed, and it's technically all my fault! I had a solid set of allies, didn't think twice and kept everyone together, but now Whitney's over there with them while I'm over here alone. It's frustrating, but I knew it was possible that I'd enter at a disadvantage, so I have to get to work.
NUBIA

The castaways all sit around the fire, everyones attention turned to Nubia.

Nubia: Well, (waves with both hands) hey, (smiles) I'm Nubia. I'm twenty years old, living in Houston, Texas, and Ebonie's my sister.

Courtney (Curious): What is it you do, Nuvia?

Blinking, Nubia puts up a single finger.

Nubia: Nubia. (Smiles and laughs) But, I'm, uh, ...cashier.

Turning up her nose, Courtney glances over to Jay.

Courtney: What does your sister do?

Nubia: She's, ....uh, (laughs) she's actually a (finger quotes) a top model of sorts. Like, she models, but she does well for herself; she lives in Paris for it right now, actually.

Phobos boldly asks if Nubia's jealous of her sisters accomplishments, causing everyone to turn and look at him, most unable to believe he'd ask such a question. Nubia shuffles in her seat.

Nubia (Awkwardly): I mean, being a cashier, obviously I wish my paycheques were a little more similar.

Trying to keep the conversation going, getting away from the current topic, Jay cuts in.

Jay: You're from Houston, yeah? May I ask about the storm?

Looking to the ground, Nubia stays silent for a moment. The camera shows a close-up of Colton, looking sympathetic, before cutting back to Nubia. Everybody understands that Jay is referring to Hurricane Harvey, which had devastated Nubia's hometown less than a year prior.

Nubia: ...It was bad, really bad. We, uh... we lost a lot, everything actually. Me and my family are still picking up the pieces, but we're slowly and surely getting back on our feet.

Jessica (Softly): I'm sorry to hear that.

Giving a small grin, Nubia looks back down.

Anambasnubia Hurricane Harvey left Houston in ruins, the floods destroyed my home and everything inside of it. (Wipes away tear) Normally you'd never catch me starving in conditions like this, but with everything that has happened this last year, there's no way I could turn down the opportunity of 'Survivor'. It was the most costliest Hurriane since Katrina, you know that? But a lot of the time, because three major storms were current that week, we quickly got forgotten about. Which is unfortunate, since such a big part of relief efforts can be assisted by donations. However, (exhales deep breath) it's my motivation, and it's what' going to push me to the end of this game. When it comes to my tribe though, I'm not going to talk about it as my fire, I'm going to use it to gain sympathy.
NUBIA

The camera zooms in slowly upon Nubia, chiming devilish music in the background.

Jessica: Come on guys.

She says, raising from her seat and initiating a group hug around Nubia, who still sits. As everyone releases, she wipes away a few more tears, thanking them for their kindness.

Jessica: You're one of us now, we're a family. (Looks around and laughs) A small family, but your family.

Nubia smiles.

As the scene then cuts to the next, an establishing shot is shown of a small monkey in a tree, which looks passed the camera lens. As the sunlight beams through the jungle canopy, Nubia and Colton walk side by side down the path. Both of them are holding their canteens.

Colton: So how are you feeling?

Nubia: Pretty good! Obviously there were nerves coming into today, but everyone has seemed pretty friend so far.

Giving a few small nods, Colton agrees, chuckling as he says that there were a few problematic people, but that they're all gone now. Nubia awkwardly laughs along, asking what he believes to have been their kryptonite during challenges. Colton remains honest, not seeing how being anything but would help, telling Nubia all about the flu that Brittany had been struck with, and how it ravaged through camp.

Nubia (Surprised): So, what's why Adele got sick!

Giving a guilty expression, Colton feels as though that's the case.

Colton: ...Watch out for Courtney, too. She's the only one over here who currently has it.

With wide eyes, Nubia thanks him for the tip. The screen then shows Courtney, who looks nauseous while using the machete to cut down palm fronds. Things then focus back on Nubia and Colton, who grins as he tells her that he's just 'looking out'.

Nubia: (Giggles) Are you now?

Colton: (Nods) Yup.

Nubia (Anxiously): (Laughs) Then... tell a girl what's going on around here.

Feeling relieved that she'd come to him, Colton looks over to Nubia happily.

Colton: Well, at our second tribal council Sierra played han idol, saving herself and sending home Norman. Other than that, every vote we've had as been focused on getting rid of the sick. It keeps spreading and weakening our tribe, so we're trying to nip that in the butt.

Nubia (Curious): Who has all had it?

Colton: By now, everyone except for Phobos and Jay. Courtney just got sick, while Jess and I are just getting better.

Nubia: Oh my god, I had no idea things have been so bad over here.

He sighs, telling her it has been an incredibly tough experience for all of them for the last two weeks.

Anambascolton As each day goes on, the dynamics and relationships in this game change and get shaken up. However, a lot of gameplay has been stifled because we've just been trying to get rid of those who have fallen in. When the Monarch tribe took out Geoff, who we all viewed as their strongest link, I think it finally set the stage for what we all knew was coming; war. Although our strategy has been to take out the weak, I'm afraid people are going to start playing more strategically, and that Jay and Phobos may have Courtney's back, since they have been all healthy up until now, voting together. If that's the case, Jess and I are in trouble, so Nubia could be key to our futures.
COLTON

Nubia: So, I might not have as much to worry about?

She asks hopefully,

Nubia: Courtney's done for at the next tribal council, yeah?

But Colton goes quiet, huffing before responding.

Colton: (Shrugs) I'm not so certain. That's what I'd like to see, but it's more complicated than that.

Colton goes on to explain to Nubia how Courtney, Jay, and Phobos seemed to have built a trust while everyone else was sick, telling her that they continue to speak amongst one another now that he and Jessica have gotten better.

Colton: ...and I fear that, for the sake of having numbers with an approaching merge, that they'll stick just stick with one another and abandon focus and voting out people who have the flu.

Gulping, Nubia grows worried.

Nubia: So it could be me?

Colton: Could be, followed by either Jess or I.

Nubia: So, are you and Jess together?

He hesitates, but then nods, following it up with a lie.

Colton: By circumstance.

Nubia: Okay, ...Thanks for filling me in. Is there potentially a move the three of us could make against the three of them?

Colton smiles,

Colton: That's why I'm talking to you right now, (chuckles) that's what I'm hoping for.

Nubia: Well, ...if Sierra used this tribes idol, that option is done. Are there... cracks, overlapping friendships, anything?

Colton: There is one thing...

He teases,

Colton: Phobos proving to be quite competitive, he's been letting his frustration come out more and more lately, because he's so tired of losing.

Listening, Nubia doesn't break her gaze from Colton.

Colton: With Courtney sick, she becomes a huge liability. That, I think, is the angle we need to work.

Back at camp, Phobos sits with his legs crossed inside of the shelter, day dreaming in the shade while hiding from the sun. Courtney walks into view, so weak from being sick that she's barely able to lift her feet, dragging two long palm fronds behind her on the ground. The tosses them into a small pile of other plant life she has collected already and placed under the shade of a few close together trees. She sets down her belongings, then with a groan, plops herself down into the pile and tries to get comfortable. By now, this has earned Phobos' attention, as he has snapped from his daze and watches her.

He loudly projects his voice over to her,

Phobos: What are you doing?

Courtney (Grumbling): I made a bed.

However, due to her lack of energy, Phobos has a hard time hearing her. He gets up and walks over, looking down at her with his hands on his hips; 'huh?' Courtney explains that she has made her own bed, that way others can feel free to use the shelter without worrying about catching what she has.

Courtney: ...and if I get struck with the immediate urge to puke, I don't have to worry about keeping it down while running.

She says, glancing over to several mounds of dirt around the shelter, each covering up where people had accidentally puked without having had the time to run for a bush.

Anambascourtney Of course I'm worried about my standing in the tribe right now, considering that until now I've been one of the loudest campaigners for getting rid of people infected with the flu. My plan of action to create a sense of comfort around camp, I don't want people to stress about me being around them, and hopefully I can go under the radar with the addition of Nubia to our tribe. We'd be idiots to not break up the twins before they can reunite at the merge.
COURTNEY

Day 14[]

Monarch Tribe[]

A few scattered clouds float high above the island. The moon is low in the sky as the morning starts to become slightly less dark just before the sun is to rise. The camera pans over five sleeping bodies inside of the shelter; Ebonie, Candy, Leroy, who snores, Whitney, and a close-up of a drooling Rick. The screen then cuts to somewhere in the jungle, where Khaled can be seen quietly and carefully making his way through the the brush.

Anambaskhaled Being a fan of this game, I know that there's always salvation hidden somewhere on the island in the form of an immunity idol. Although all my intuition tells me that someone has already found it by now, I haven't seen or heard of it. So, on a whim of hope, I'll continue to search until I know for sure that I no longer have a reason to. I've wanted to be here for so long that there's no way in hell I'm going to give this less than 100% of my devotion.
KHALED

Searching around the base of a tree that Khaled's more than certain he has already checked before, he finds nothing but a handful of debris from the ground. Frustrated, he huffs and puffs, throwing the handful to the ground and shaking his hand clean. As he shakes his head and wipes what's left from his hands onto his shorts, Khaled lets out a long and drawn out sigh as he glares to the camera.

Khaled: This thing was probably found on day one and I'm looking like a total fool right now.

However, despite his fears, he continues his search. Back at camp, Whitney starts to roll around a bit, smacking her tongue against the top of her mouth, moistening her dry palette. 'Hmmm' , she murmurs, rolling over from one side to the other. A montage is shown of Khaled looking for the illusive Monarch tribe idol, searching high and low; in holes on the ground, the bases and tops of trees, riverbeds, the water well, bushes, and places that appear to stand out amongst their surroundings. He finds absolutely nothing. Although the darkness allows him to be more discreet, it also impedes his progress, forcing him to be slow-going.

Khaled (Annoyed): This has got to be the biggest wild goose chase ever.

A shot is shown as the moon slowly falls further in the sky, disappearing below the horizon as the light from the sun begins to slowly illuminate the landscape. As the top of the sun begins to peer over the ocean, Khaled finally finds himself searching with a bit more clarity of where he actually is on the island. Now that he is able to navigate around more clearly, Khaled taps his chin, thinking long and hard about where he has already gone, and where he may not have checked out yet. It then comes to his attention that he hasn't been down one of the lesser used paths yet this morning, the second option that leads from camp to the water well, known for being the 'long way'.

While he embarks down the fairly unfamiliar trail, attention then once again switches back to camp, where Whitney quickly sits up. She stretches and yawns, slowly creeping over her sleeping tribe mates and out of the shower. Khaled's lack of presence goes unnoticed as she's more interested in finding a place to relieve her bladder. Whitney hurries through the terrain which she has yet to explore much of, desperate to find a secluded place to do her business. Still half asleep, groggy, and with heavy eyes that are filled from the sandman's visit, she doesn't notice as she passes by a tree marked with a carving of a butterfly. Soon after, Whitney runs off the path and disappears behind a thick tree.

Unbeknownst to both of them, Khaled and Whitney are on the same path and within the vicinity of one another. Khaled, who's growing more determined than ever as each second passes, slowly walks through the jungle, keeping his eyes peeled for anything that might seem out of the ordinary. Suddenly, something catches his eye as he zeros in on something and quickly begins hurrying. Thanks to the rising sun, the little bit of light he has been granted is enough to see the etching of a butterfly in the bark of a tree to the side of the path, something he otherwise would've missed when it was pitch black. Something that only the luck of time has given him.

Khaled (Excited): Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god; what is this?

He says, grabbing onto the tree and then rubbing his fingers over the carving.

Khaled (Excited): I don't know if this has to do with the idol, but it obviously has something to do with the game. Oh, thank you lord!

Khaled's head scans the tree up and down quickly, trying to find whatever it is this could mean. Seeing nothing in the top of the tree, Khaled drops to his knees and begins to frantically digging around the base of the tree. The scene then cuts away, showing the tree Whitney had disappeared behind as rushing what is audible. Back at the base of the tree, Khaled flings scoop after scoop of dirt between his legs, getting further and further beneath the surface.

Khaled (Hopeful): Come on, come on...

Getting deeper and deeper, something comes lose, which Khaled quickly grabs ahold of and upheaves it from the ground. Whatever it is, is wrapped in burlap cloth. Khaled's fingers fumble as he unties the twine string keeping the wrapping around the mystery item. 'Ehhhhhhhh!', he excitedly squeals. Once the twin comes undone the wrapping easily slips from around whatever's in Khaled's hand, falling away to reveal their tribes hidden immunity idol.

Khaled (Loudly): Yes!

The screen cuts back to the tree where Whitney hides behind, 'huh?', is heard.

With a huge smile upon his face, Khaled allows himself to fall backwards into the pile of dirt he just dug from the ground, happily celebrating to himself.

Khaled (Happily): I can't believe this, I can't believe this.

Anambaskhaled I've spent this whole game on edge, worried that I could go home. Finally, Ebonie and I find ourselves in a majority after the last vote. With the addition of this idol, I feel as though I can finally breathe a sigh of relief.
KHALED

In the moment of euphoria, Khaled's exhaustion strikes him fast, as he lays looking up to the brightening sky. Suddenly, his bliss is interrupted.

Whitney: What's going on over here, are you okay?

She says, appearing from around the corner of the path. Khaled's face quickly moves to the side, catching a glance at Whitney, causing him to abruptly get up onto his feet. Khaled brushes some of the dirt from his pants as Whitney approaches, then holds his idol behind his back.

Khaled: Yeah! I'm fine, sorry if I scared you, (holds out hand that doesn't hold the idol) I didn't mean to. Just, uh, enjoying the beautiful sky this morning.

Whitney's eyes look up for a moment, then fall back onto Khaled.

Whitney (Curious): What did I see in your hand, the one behind your back?

For a moment, Whitney and Khaled lock eyes while no words are said. However it doesn't take long for Khaled to cave, knowing there was no way of wiggling out of it, and pulls out the idol from behind his back, showing it off to Whitney.

Whitney: Wow!

She says, grinning, then looking from the idol back up to Khaled; 'Did you just find the idol?', she asks. Although he would've liked to have kept it to himself, he gives up the information, knowing it's what's best for his game moving forward with his current alliance. There's nothing believable otherwise that he can come up with.

Khaled: Yeah! Can you believe it? Now, for sure, we have total power over Stacy and clueless Rick. There's no way now that they can save themselves in the next vote.

She grabs onto Khaled's arm, giggling, and looking him in the eye.

Whitney (Happily): Oh wow, This is amazing! I love you right now (laughs).

Khaled says nothing, just smiling back to her and matching her giggle awkwardly.

Anambaswhitney I don't know if Khaled planned on sharing his idol find, probably not, so I'm glad I happened to go pee when I did. This kind of forces us into an unlikely pairing, and I don't know if he trusts it. Although we're in a larger alliance together, he shouldn't. This isn't the type of information I'm going to keep myself, this is something that I'm gonna tell my Mom and and see what she has to say. She knows better than I do what has been going on around here, and how to deal with this find of Khaled's.
WHITNEY

The camera then cuts a little while later in time, as Khaled sits carefully onto the edge of the shelter. He looks over his shoulder, seeing the rest of his tribe mates still sleeping. He grabs his bag, digging through it to find a pair of his dirty socks. He uses these to wrap the idol inconspicuously, then places it back to where he had nabbed it. He and Whitney both then fall back into a slumber.

A timelapse is shown looking out over the ocean, showing as the sun comes from beyond the horizon and rises into the sky. The camera then settles back down into camp. It's now mid morning, and the castaway are awake and starting their days. As the pot sits with some leftover rice, being circled by a fly, the camera focuses in onto Khaled, who's hunched over eating his rice, sitting beside Ebonie, who just finished hers and placed her empty coconut shell to the side.

Khaled (Whispering): I need to tell you something.

Khaled looks out over camp, as does Ebonie, watching life happen around them.

Ebonie (Whispering): Okay...

Khaled (Whispering): I found the idol last night.

Saying nothing, Ebonie turns her head to look at Khaled. With the eye contact that they make, she knows that he's not lying to her.

Ebonie (Whispering): That's fantastic news.

Khaled (Whispering): I knew you'd think so.

Anambaskhaled Coming into this game, I gave myself one hint of advice; no matter how much you trust someone, do not tell them if you find a hidden immunity idol. However, since Whitney knows, I can guarantee she'll tell Candy, who'll tell Leroy. Ebonie's without a doubt going to hear about this, so it's better that it's from my mouth, and not somebody else's. Her and I have been at the bottom this whole game, she's who has most of my trust at this point.
KHALED

But then, the smile on Khaled's face disappears.

Khaled (Whispering): But, ...Whitney caught me, so she knows. That means Candy and Leroy are going to know.

Ebonie says nothing.

Khaled (Whispering): I don't know how I feel about that. I know that you and I are good with them right now, but I'd rather that have been something more intimate that we could've shared. (Motions away and shakes his head) They don't always need to know our entire hand.

Ebonie (Whispering): (Nods) No, you're right, I totally agree. That's fantastic news, but it really does sketch me out that they know you have it.

Sighing, Khaled sets his shell of rice down, and adjusts himself better to have a conversation with Ebonie.

Khaled (Whispering): You don't think that would be something to make them take a shot at me, do you?

Ebonie (Whispering): (Shrugs) I honestly don't know.

Anambasebonie Unlike Khaled, I actually have somewhat of a relationship with Whitney, so I know that I don't have as much to worry about with her as he does. Unfortunately, he's right, she's likely going to tell her mother, who I don't think is going to like that very much. Khaled may just need to waste the idol at the next vote, just to ensure Candy doesn't flip on him.
EBONIE

She then gives him a hopeful smile, tapping Khaled on his knee.

Ebonie (Whispering): But, I promise that if I hear anything, you'll be who I run to first.

Khaled (Whispering): (Smiles) Thanks, Eb.

The scene then cuts to the next, showcasing the small waves as they peacefully crash against the sandy shoreline. Candy and Whitney both float in the water, slowly rotating their arms beneath the surface to stay afloat. With a giggle, Whitney tilts her head, giving her mother a devilish smirk and giggle.

Candy (Curious): Whitney Eve, what are you up to?

Whitney: I have something I need to tell you.

Candy (Amused): Well, I can tell that, you couldn't have made it any more obvious. Now, spill the beans.

Whitney smiles,

Whitney: I busted Khaled early this morning, finding the idol.

Candy: Shut up! Did you really?

Proud, Whitney nods her head quickly, still grinning form ear to ear.

Candy: Oh, Whit, way to go; that's just what you and I need to know.

Anambascandy Whitney came to me this morning to say that she stumbled upon Khaled finding the idol, which was better than a coffee would've been at that hour. Not only does that guarantee that Stacy doesn't have an idol, but now we know exactly where that darn thing is moving forward.
CANDY

Splashing water on her face, Whitney wipes her eyes clear, looking back to her mother.

Whitney: Yeah, totally.

Candy then pinches her nose and dunks under the water momentarily to soak her hair. She re-emerges and flicks away the run-off water that streams down the front of her face.

Whitney (Startled): Mom!

Following the point of Whitney's finger, Candy looks down, noticing that she had popped out of her top while resurfacing, as a blur is shown across the screen.

Candy: What- oh, my niPPLE?

Letting out a hard, loud laugh, Candy puts things back into place, much to the horror of her daughter. The scene then changes, it's now afternoon and Whitney has since returned to camp and dried off. She walks through camp, wandering over to the shelter, where Stacy lays relaxing. Whitney crawls inside, joining her.

Whitney (Cheery): Hey, what's up?

Stacy forces a smile,

Stacy: Not much, yourself?

Groaning, Whitney finally settles and gets comfortable.

Whitney: Not a whole lotta. I'm actually kind of bored, I forgot how much downtime we have out here.

Nodding, Stacy agrees. Whitney then keeps the conversation moving, not allowing things to get stale.

Whitney: So, we haven't had much of a chance to talk that much yet, so lets talk.

Stacy: Alright, (Nods) lets talk.

Anambaswhitney In Canada I was the one on the outs, but I still did some damage before I chose to leave, because when you're at the bottom, people view you as a number to use. My mom made a cardinal mistake, putting someone on the outside who directly wants her taken out. That sets her up perfectly if Khaled or Ebonie wanted to make a move. I'm here to learn from my mistakes, I want to play a much better game this time. I want to convey to Stacy that just because her and my Mom have beef, that doesn't mean her and I do.
WHITNEY

Whitney pauses for a moment,

Whitney: So, ... I heard about what happened at the last tribal council.

'Hm.', mumbles Stacy, shifting in her seat while flicking her head to the side.

Stacy: I'm sure you did.

Whitney stares back at her.

Stacy: My advice? Unless you actually know what happened last night, just remember that (holds up one hand) your mothers truth, (holds up her other hand) and the truth. (Shakes head) Don't let her confuse you of the two.

Sighing, Whitney speaks up,

Whitney: I know what happened. It's a (bleep)y thing. But, that was my mom that did that, that wasn't me.

Stacy: Oh, I know, dear, and I'm not blaming you. I'm just... speaking my truth.

Whitney: Just know that, like, just because we're blood, doesn't mean we're not separate entities in this game; we are. As might've come here to win, but so did I.

Whitney raises her brow, as if she's hinting something.

Whitney: Okay?

Stacy nods,

Stacy: Okay.

Whitney smiles.

Anambasstacyy Whitney came to me and had a very interesting chat. She made it more than clear that just because she's working with her mother, doesn't mean she'll always side with her mother. The only question is whether or not it's true. Maybe, if that's the way she's thinking, Whitney will realize her mother being here is only making her a bigger target. She could potentially be another vote for my attempt to flip the game. Who knows? She has to be open to possibilities, why else would she approach me? Right now I feel like a disney princess, while Whitney's my wicked step-sister, and Candy's my wicked step-mother. But, we all know how fairytales turn out. (Sounding hopeful) That's just what I need to remind myself of while times are tough.
STACY

Admiral Tribe[]

As the screen focuses from a blur, the castaways of the Admiral tribe are seen as they sit around the fire, laughing and conversing with one another. A close-up is then shown of Colton, who contorts his face uncomfortably, clenching one eye shut and squinting through the other. He shuffles in his seat, awkwardly chuckling.

Colton: John O'Hurley

He says, as the castaways discuss their celebrity crushes. Everyone bursts out laughing, as a blushing Colton hides behind his hands, eventually giving them a joking middle finger.

Colton (Laughing): Man, screw all of you.

Which is when the not-so-socially-savvy Phobos speaks up,

Phobos: (Laughs) Someone say it with me, (jazz hands) daddy issues!

Phobos then lets a laugh bellow out from the pits of his stomach, loud and hard, throwing his head back. Suddenly, Phobos notices the silence around him, opening his eyes and looking around, noticing that no one else is laughing and instead all glaring in his direction. Jay, who sits a few people away from Phobos, discreetly shakes his head. It's then Phobos remembers Colton was raised by his grandfather, causing his eyes to widen. He innocently puts out his hands, pleading to Colton.

Phobos: Oh, my gosh, I didnt- I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking.

However, Colton's a good sport about it, laughing it off as he knows there was no ill-intent.

Colton: It's all good dude. How about you, who's your celebrity crush?

Phobos: (Grinning) Hayden Panettiere.

Colton (Amused): Really?!

Phobos: Dude, I've got her poster on my bedroom wall.

Colton: (Laughing) Oh, so you're, like, a big fan?

Phobos: Oh yeah, man, that chick's talented and hot.

Laying across camp in her home made bed of leaves and brush, Courtney scoffs and rolls her eyes; she's annoyed.

Courtney: Can we not talk about women objectively, please?

Phobos glances over his shoulder to her, then looks back to the rest of the group, ignoring her comment.

Courtney: As a society, we don't do that to men, so lets not do it to the female population either.

Preparing to fix his previous statement, Phobos obnoxiously clears his throat.

Phobos: Hayden's by far one of the most underrated actresses in Hollywood.

He then rolls his tongue between his teeth and upper lip, still thinking about Courtney's interjection. As others continue talking around them, Phobos nudges Colton with his elbow, leaning in closer.

Phobos (Quietly): I don't know about you, but I'd be flattered if someone vocally admitting to thinking I was a hot piece.

Saying nothing, Colton just raises his brow.

Anambasphobos Well, it took longer than I expected, but Courtney's opinionated personality is starting to get under my skin. Yeah, she's loyal, dependable, all that, blah, blah, blah; but as soon as she opens her mouth, she easily drains the energy from a conversation. She loves to talk over people, when she has an opinion, she's right and you're wrong, and she'll tell you why, just as we seen when she argued with Norman over politics. If she has a 'type A' personality, then I must be a 'Z', because she's the total opposite of the kind of person I associate with back home.
PHOBOS

A montage is then shown, highlighting some of the behaviour that Phobos is referring to; starting with her argument with Norman over politics. Also shown is; Courtney and Norman disagreeing on whether or not co-ed bathrooms are 'appropriate', Courtney telling a bored looking Sierra about the 'Black Lives Matter' and 'Me Too' movement, Courtney speaking over Brittany to share her own Coachella experiences, Courtney getting frustrated with the vomit surrounding the shelter while those who are sick lay nearby, and finally Courtney as she proceeds to tell Jay that he isn't boiling the water correctly. The reel ends with a close-up of Jay thereafter, clearly biting his tongue.

Various establishing shots are shown from within the jungle of the plant life, then the sunlight as it beams through the lush canopy above. Phobos and Jay are alone with one another, Jay leans against a bolder as Phobos paces around, picking up a pebble and examining it while holding it between his fingers.

He then huffs, tossing the small rock.

Phobos: Look, I'm not trying to be negative at all, but she's really starting to irk me.

Jay nods,

Jay: I've picked up on it.

Continuing pacing angerly, Phobos converses.

Phobos: I can't stand her constantly checking me, whether it's over political correctness, or just what she views as facts. Courtney always has something to say to me, always, always, always, always. I'm tired of it.

Jay: (Nods) I can see.

Frustrated, Phobos lets his emotions get the better of him, and it shows as he aggressively throws his hands into the air.

Phobos: Ugh! Like, I know we need her, I'm not dumb, but damn, she's making it hard to not look forward to the day that her vote isn't necessary anymore.

Jay: She's putting a target on herself, (shakes head) which is good, because if we wanted to get rid of her then we don't have to do anything dramatic and cause waves. She's making the waves (motions to himself and Phobos), socially.

Phobos: I know, I know, but (bleep), man. She ain't my mother (shakes head) she can't talk to me like that, dude. It's so demeaning.

Suddenly, a twig snaps, causing both Phobos and Jay's heads to whip into the direction of the sound. Courtney then appears from around the corner of the trail, looking as though she feels nauseous, obliviously coming up to the boys and interrupting the conversation. She greets them, but looking confused, Phobos dismisses that and asks what she's doing out of bed; pretending as though he cares.

Courtney: Well! (Smiles) I need to talk to my boys sometime, right? And since you two never come sit with me at camp, I needed to case you guys down (laughs).

Jay and Phobos look to one another.

Courtney: I has been an eventful few days, so I just wanted to check in and see where your heads are at.

Anambasphobos So, here I am with Jay, spit-roasting the (sarcastically) pleasant breath of fresh air that is Courtney, and whataya know, she comes prancing around the corner. My stomach was in my throat, my heart stopped, but (squints) all seems to be okay, she didn't seem to hear anything. (Using hands, lifts foot and pretends to stuff it into his mouth) Phew, that was almost the second time today I pissed that broad off! However, it seems as though she's none the wiser.
PHOBOS

Crossing her arms, Courtney waits for what they have to say. Jay takes the lead.

Jay: I think everything's still the same, (glances to Phobos) isn't it?

Phobos: ...Yeah.

Courtney nods,

Courtney: Perfect, she needs to go. We don't know what she's capable of.

A quick momentary clip is shown of Nubia as she walks through the sand.

Jay: (Shrugs) I think everyone mutually understands that she's next to go.

Courtney: Good, that's exactly what I wanted to hear. So, we're still... good?

Both Phobos and Jay give her a simple nod.

Courtney: Thanks guys. I know that our whole strategy of voting out the sick completely goes against keeping me in this game, but like, I wanted to remind you both that we agreed to a voting alliance.

Phobos (Short): We know.

Courtney turns to look at Phobos, as does Jay.

Courtney: ...Well, I'm glad to hear.

Nodding to Courtney, Jay cuts into the conversation.

Jay: Of course, (smiles) but anyways, you really should get yourself back to bed and rest.

Courtney smirks,

Courtney: I know (laughs). Now that we've had this chat though, I can rest peacefully.

Jay: Good, we're glad!

Anambascourtney Coming down with the flu is terrible for my game and leaves me with a lot of anxiety about where I stand. With that said, I immediately feel a thousand times better after talking to the boys and having them guarantee me their loyalty.
COURTNEY

With that, Courtney dismisses herself, heading back to camp. Jay and Phobos watch as she disappears from sight. Right away Jay faces Phobos,

Jay (Whispering): Was that weird to you? (Motions to self) That was weird to me.

Phobos (Whispering): (Nods) It was weird.

Jay (Whispering): Why does she need to check in with us if she trusts us?

Saying nothing, Phobos points right at Jay, signalling he has made a valid point.

Phobos: Not to mention, she never mentioned her father.

Jay shrugs,

Phobos: All I'm saying, if she trusted us like she claims, she'd have trusted us with that information.

Still, Jay doesn't look totally phased, as Phobos drags his index finger across his throat. Jay pouts, while now Phobos is the one shrugging.

Day 15[]

Immunity Challenge[]

Challenge: Pass The Bucket
One tribe member must race into the lake to fill a bucket with water. Then they must bring it back and toss it to a tribemate. The bucket must be tossed three times more, and the final tribe member must catch the water itself in another bucket, and use it to fill a jar. The tribes must repeat this until they have enough weight in their jar to lower it to the ground, sending a lit flame up to a fire tower. First tribe to light their fire wins immunity.

Admiral Tribe[]

Waves are shown aggressively smashing against the rocky part of the Admiral beach shoreline, throwing ocean spray in the breeze. A steaming Phobos quickly marches into camp, pissed at suffering yet another loss, huffing and puffing as he stops by the camera. Behind him, the rest of the tribe slowly enters camp from the beach, quietly watching.

Jessica: Are you alright?

'Yeah.', he hollers.

Phobos: I just need to cool down.

He then disappears into the jungle. Leaving an awkward air around camp, everyone looks around to one another, unsure of what to say. It's obvious by the expression on Nubia's face that she's confused. Courtney notices this, explaining how competitive Phobos is and how the losing streak has effected him. 'Ah', Nubia hums.

Courtney: It's no big deal, really. He'll be fine, just gotta give him a few minutes.

Courtney then sets down her things, walking over to her bed of brush.

Anambascourtney I could see the gears turning in Nubia's head, no doubt thinking about how she could use Phobos' outburst in her own favour to flip the vote. No, no, no; I had to shut that down real quick.
COURTNEY

As Courtney gets comfortable, the camera then cuts to the shelter, where Nubia walks over and joins Jessica and Colton as they begin to settle back into camp for the afternoon.

Nubia (Curious/Quietly): So, what's up?

She says, referring to the upcoming vote.

Colton (Quietly): You tell me.

He says in a discreet manner, while Jessica stays silent.

Nubia (Quietly): I think there is the small chance we could pull off getting her out.

The camera pans for to Courtney, who's now lounging, before cutting back to the shelter.

Colton (Quietly): (Shrugs) Then get it worked out.

Nubia nods.

Anambasnubia If I want any chance of staying in this game tonight, I need to convince these people that I'm the best person for their game. I know I can easily get Jessica and Colton, they need my number as badly as I need theirs, it's that fourth crucial vote I'm worried about. But, if I want to blindside Courtney tonight, I think there's a small possibility Phobos could be flipped.
NUBIA

Jay walks over to join Courtney, sitting down and crossing her legs on the pile of brush. 'Comfy', he jokes.

Courtney: Everything in order for tonight?

Both Courtney and Jay glance over to Nubia.

Jay: I think she's the obvious and easy choice to guarantee all of us three more days. This way we all make it through, and we keep the numbers on our side.

Courtney: I just hope those two [Colton and Jessica] don't try to make a move tonight. Honestly, they'd be dumb not to.

Jay shrugs,

Jay: In theory, you're right, but if we let both twins make it to the merge together... we'd look like total idiots.

Courtney sighs,

Courtney: Yeah... I feel like if my Dad came back I'd have more reason to be worried.

Jay: (Nods) Yeah, you're right.

Courtney: But with Candy and Whitney in the game together, and the twins, I think the fact I'm sick will go relatively unnoticed.

He sighs,

Jay: I sure hope so.

This brings a puzzled look upon Courtney's face.

Anambasjay The big move isn't always the right move. The best thing moving forward would be to get rid of Nubia now rather than later, which allows Court, Phobos, and myself to maintain the majority. I see that as clear as day, my only fear in this scenario is Phobos, who's proving to be more and more emotionally volatile as the days go on. I doubt he'll flip, but if he does, he'll be ruining the best thing he has going for himself in this game.
JAY

Over at the shelter, Nubia has since left, leaving Colton and Jessica with one another by their lonesome. Packing her bags in anticipation of tonight, Jessica sighs. Colton asks her if she's nerves, to which she clarifies that she'll always plan for the unknown. Colton looks over to Courtney and Jay, who are still chatting with one another, then back to Jessica.

Colton (Whispering): What do you think the right move to make is?

Having finished packing, Jessica does up get bag.

Jessica (Whispering): Well, obviously Courtney going home would do wonders for us. If we teamed up with Nubia, we'd then have the numbers, and the twins would be a massive target together at the merge.

Colton nods,

Colton (Whispering): ...Then you and I would be overlooked.

Jessica (Whispering): Exactly.

Then, both Jessica and Colton notice that Courtney and Jay are watching them. As soon as eye contact is made, both groups look away from one another.

Colton (Whispering): There's a variety of different ways that this could go.

Jessica (Whispering): Mhm, we just need to figure out which that is.

Colton Exhales.

Anambascolton There's a lot of things that Jess and I need to think through with this vote, because if we side with Nubia and she isn't able to pull over another vote, we'll be even more screwed than before against.
COLTON

A small caterpillar is shown inching its way across a giant leaf that dwarfs the small creature in comparison, before the screen cuts to show Phobos sitting along the riverbed, with his feet in the water, stuffing his face with a banana. Upon the last bite, he tosses the peel into the current, watching it drift away. Appearing from the bushes, Nubia comes up behind Phobos, startling him as she places her hand onto his shoulder. Before he can say anything, he passes him another banana, causing him to chuckle as he begins to peel it and take a mouthful. She sits down beside him,

Nubia: I know your mind is probably made up, but I was hoping we could talk for a few minutes.

With a mouth of mushy, half chewed banana, Phobos gets out the little amount of sound he can manage, giving Nubia the go-ahead to make her pitch.

Nubia: Look, I know you're tired of losing, and I came into this game wanting to win challenges just as badly as you do.

He nods,

Nubia: ...and, truthfully, she's a nice girl, but (shakes head) I don't see you doing that with Courtney around. I think she's a bright girl.

With a full mouth, muffling his voice,

Phobos: Interesting choice of words, but I can't say I disagree with the bulk of that statement

Although not sure if that's his brain or temper talking, Nubia can't help but smirk, hoping she's making some leeway.

Nubia: I'm going to be honest with you, I don't want to go home tonight. I want to stay here, I want to help you guys win more challenges, and I want to see us succeed as a tribe.

He nods once again as Nubia begins to shake her head.

Nubia: I don't see you guys being able to do that with Courtney still here.

'Hm', grumbles Phobos.

Nubia: straight up, she's not in the same kind of physical shape as me, and I don't have the flu. Keep her around and what? You probably lose the next immunity challenge and the losing streak continues.

Phobos swallows his mouthful, yet again chucking the peel into the water, and thinks about what Nubia's saying to him.

Anambasphobos I can't lie, Nubia does make some valid points, but I need to remember the angle she's working from; that girl wants to desperately stay in this game. Just because she makes it sound logical, doesn't mean it necessarily is. For all I know, she could've received a secret power for surviving Isolation Island, so I really need to think this one through before making a decision.
PHOBOS

Without making a sound, Courtney walks down the path behind them, arriving in a startling manner. However, this seems to go unnoticed to her.

Courtney: Hey, how's it going?

Nubia immediately perks up.

Phobos: Hey-

Nubia: Actually, can I have a moment to talk with Phobos?

She stares Courtney up and down, who scrunches her brow.

Courtney: About what?

Nubia: Funny, I didn't know you were apart of this conversation?

Picking up on what seems to her as severe hostility, Courtney jerks her head back. Courtney tells Nubia that she finds her to be being incredibly rude, two which Nubia points out 'obvious' hypocrisies as she is the one interrupting them. Courtney rolls her eyes and tells Nubia that she's foolish.

Courtney: Fine, then I guess we can talk to him together then.

With wide eyes, Nubia sits up straight.

Nubia: No we ain't.

Anambasnubia Call me rude, call me abrasive, I honestly do not care. I've never been one to tolerate bull(bleep) or be less than blunt. I'm talking about sending this girl home and I'm not done, so no, you gotta go away for a sec!
NUBIA

Phobos then interjects, trying to keep the peace, looking up to Courtney with an awkward grin.

Phobos: Just give us one sec, we're almost done, I promise I'll come find you when I'm done.

Nubia smugly smirks. However, this doesn't stop Courtney, who stands confidently and looks passed Nubia, right to Phobos.

Courtney: I just want to know, you're still solid on sticking to the plan, right?

There's a quiet for a few seconds.

Phobos: ...Yes.

He says, keeping her at bay.

Courtney: (Smiles) Good.

Giving Nubia a final glance, Courtney says she's going to go get some rest before tribal council and hustles off. As soon as she's out of sigh, Nubia scoffs.

Nubia: Does she think that I don't know that I'm the plan? (Claps) like, (throws hands into the air)

Phobos: I didn't say that.

Nubia: You don't have to.

Anambasphobos It's obvious that I have a lot to think about heading into tonight's tribal council. Getting rid of Nubia would keep things safe, but getting rid of Courtney could pay off more in the long term. Dare I say it? I'm maybe a little torn.
PHOBOS

Feeling disheartened, Nubia hangs her head low as she returns to camp from the jungle. Having read Phobos' intentions wrong, she drags herself over to the shelter and grabs ahold of her bag.

Nubia: I'll be needing this. It's me tonight.

Both lounging inside of the shelter, Colton and Jessica perk up.

Colton (Curious): Why do you say that?

'Nubia: (Rolls eyes) Phobos told Courtney, right to my face, that he's still in on 'the plan.

Jessica's eyes slide over to Colton.

Nubia: (Shrugs) Not that she sounded overly open to helping me anyway.

Jessica frowns,

Jessica (Sympathetically): I'm sorry.

Nubia sighs, telling a Jessica it's alright. Looking around, Nubia then asks if either of them has seen her canteen. Neither have, sighing in annoyance, Nubia says she must've left it back in the jungle, and heads off to find it. This leaves Colton and Jessica alone in the shelter with one another. They don't say anything at first, trying to reach the others expression.

Colton (Whispering): If she can't get that vote, there's no way we should go along with that plan. Forcing a tie leaves too much up in the air after showing our cards. Maybe they're right, maybe we should break up the twins now, and ride out this limping tribe to the merge.

Jessica shakes her head, chuckling at the idea.

Jessica (Whispering): We have to, I don't think both of us make the merge if we let those three keep the power.

Colton sighs,

Colton (Whispering): It's an easy vote, we break that blood relation up, and there's still room to get Phobos to turn on Courtney down the road.

Jessica huffs, but bites her lip.

Anambascolton Nubia talked to Phobos, and unfortunately she doesn't feel as though she was successful. That sucks, it really does, but the show still goes on, for Jess and I at least. There's no need to make waves for a plan with a maybe percent rate.
COLTON

A transitioning scene is shown of a rat as it scurries around the jungle floor. As it sniffs around the base of a tree, it's suddenly lunged at by a snake whom had been in hiding; watching. The next scene opens to show Phobos and Jay facing one another somewhere in secret amongst the trees. The expression on Jay's face is one of concern.

Jay: What's going through your head?

Phobos shrugs,

Phobos: I gotta be honest with you; I'm not totally sure, man.

Jay: (Sighs) I think if you switch your vote that you'll be making a mistake.

Phobos: Maybe so, but maybe not. Keeping Courtney could be a mistake if she makes us loose another challenge. We're already set up to get picked off at the merge.

Face-palming, Jay groans.

Jay: Please, don't mess this up for us. I'm begging you right now.

Optimistically, Phobos blurts out,

Phobos: Maybe I won't be.

Huffing, Jay stares at Phobos.

Anambasjay The fact that Phobos is genuinely swaying on whether or not he should remain loyal to the alliance is frustrating. If he flips, we'll lose all the power that our alliance currently holds, and worst of all, I'll be the person left at the very bottom. He cannot go through with switching his vote.
JAY

Phobos shrugs as the scene fades to a transition.

The sun progressively sinks lower and lower into the sky, throwing the golden glow of dusk over the Anambas Islands. It's now last in the evening, almost time to depart for tribal council, and most of the castaways are rummaging through camp to make sure they've collected everything that they feel the need to bring with them. Colton comes up behind Jessica, who's taking a few articles of clothing down which hang to dry from a low branch.

Colton (Quietly): Can we talk right quick? It's about the vote

Jessica (Quiet): You're not still wavering are you? We only have a few minutes...

Colton (Quietly): Yes, honestly, I am. Jess, I don't think that it's worth it, can we please not go through with this?

Jessica (Quietly): You're asking me to not take a risk, you'd rather me be complacent and just hope nothing bad happens to me because of it?

Colton (Quietly): But, how would you feel if you did that and still went home because of it?

She pauses,

Jessica (Quietly): Happy that I at least tried to take my fate into my own hands. Which I couldn't say if we don't take this opportunity, and still get voted out at the next vote.

Chewing on the inside of his cheek, Colton doesn't look impressed with what Jessica has to say.

Anambascolton This is the first time Jessica and I have truly differed on our opinions with what to do. I don't feel as though this is a vote to just suck it up and make her happy, because so much of my future in this game rides on tonight. I'm not screwing my game up for anyone, even if we do have mutual friends back home. If I have to go rogue tonight, I will.
COLTON

The scene cuts, showing Colton sigh as he picks up his bag of belongings and throws it over his shoulder. Jessica packs her sweater away, looking out over the beach and using her hand to block the sun. An unsure Phobos sits with his stuff at his feet, in a daze while looking into the burning flames of the fire, jiggling his leg. Jay watches over camp, glancing from Phobos to Courtney, who struggles to get up from her home-made bed due to how weak she is from being sick.

The scene then fades, showing as one by one Jay, then Phobos, then Colton, then Jessica grab their torches, departing camp for the night ahead, finishing with a trailing Courtney, who exhales as she walks out of frame.

Anambascourtney Tonight should be straight forward, Nubia needs to go home. However, to say that I don't have a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach would be an understatement. With that said, as long as my boys are loyal, I shouldn't have anything to worry about. Colton and Jessica would be idiots to let Nubia convince them to go to a tie.
COURTNEY

The six silhouettes of the castaways carrying their torches through the sand can be seen against the backdrop of the sun setting over the ocean horizon. A journey that, for one of them, will be their last.

Tribal Council[]

The entire place is illuminated by fire; there's a fire burning on the ground before the castaways through a metal grate in the floor, the windows of the former radio house have flames coming from its windows, while lanterns are strung all around. As the entire place is made entirely of wood and rope, the fire adds the dire sense that tribal council should truly emote.

Jeff watches the castaways as they walk into the main area where all their fates will eventually be determined, each setting down their torches and taking a seat, except for Nubia, who stays standing before her hair.

Probst smirks, flashing his dimples.

Jeff Probst: (Nods) Nubia, behind each of you is a torch, approach the flame and get fire.

Nubia obeys, taking an unlit torch and dipping it into the inferno before her.

Jeff Probst: In this game fire represents life, once your fire is gone, so are you.

Setting her torch into place, Nubia then takes her seat with a heavy sigh, as all attention turns to Jeff.

Jeff Probst: Welcome back.

Phobos rolls his eyes.

Initially, Jeff wishes to start with the elephant in the room, Nubia's addition to the tribe, asking her what her first few days on the Admiral tribe have been like. Nubia gleams, expressing her joy to have survived the first four votes, being able to join the game as an individual, separate from her twin sister Ebonie. While Courtney shuffles in her seat, Probst asks Nubia what she felt about the welcome she received. Gritting her teeth, Nubia says,

Nubia: Well, (chuckles) I mean, it was definitely a lot better than I was expecting. If the shoe was on the other foot, I'd be pissed, as I'm sure some people probably were.

Courtney grins,

Nubia: But, with that said, it doesn't change the fact that some people want me out, (shrugs) but hey, I knew that was coming.

Courtney turns to look at Nubia, causing her to laugh, while Probst immediately looks more interested in what's being said.

Jeff Probst: So, you think you're in trouble tonight?

Nubia: I know I am, Jeff.

'Wow', mouths Probst as Nubia's honesty, while Courtney looks over to Jay, who looks uneasy.

Nubia: Nobody came to talk to me this afternoon, not one. Not. One. Every single conversation I had today was initiated by myself.

It's then that Courtney raises her finger.

Courtney: Jeff, may I just say, likewise.

She then glares down to Nubia, giving a phoney smile.

Courtney: Girl, you didn't bother talking to me all afternoon either, so (shrugs).

Nubia rolls her eyes,

Courtney: In fact, when I went to join a conversation with you, I was basically told, by you, to scram.

Colton tries to hide his giggling while Jeff's eyes go back and forth between the two bickering girls, as Nubia imitates Courtney, raising her finger as well, interjecting.

Nubia: Actually, yes, that is a correct statement. But, like, really, girl, why would I bother? It's no secret you're trying to send me home.

Courtney: Okay, then, so by that logic, you want me out? Great. Then why should I have bothered?

Nubia snaps her fingers,

Nubia: Yes, that would be correct. Goodbye.

As Nubia sarcastically waves, Colton can no longer contain himself, as his quiet laughter is now audible; this earns glares from Jay as Courtney smacks her knee.

Courtney: Well, there we go then.

Nubia: (Nods) There we go.

Moving forward, Jeff asks Nubia whether or not she sees the issue with being so confrontational with Courtney, both during interpersonal conversations and at tribal council. However, Nubia sticks her ground, stating that she has no tolerance for rude behaviour, and that Courtney hadn't tried to talk to her, rather force herself into a conversation she wasn't apart of. This earns a scoff from Courtney, as Nubia continues explaining herself, saying that it's likely Courtney's the only person sitting here who doesn't know of her own alternative plans. Courtney glares over to Phobos, 'Okay then..', she mumbles. Trying to make sure Nubia understands the complexities of the game, he points out that people could have hidden immunity idols or secret powers, and that's why it's often a good idea to blindside people.

Nubia: (Chuckles) This girl can hardly see a point of view other than her own, I don't expect her to be bright enough to find a small idol in a large jungle.

Colton looks over to Jessica, still amused by the two going at it, as Jessica too smirks. Even Phobos grins at Nubia's insult of Courtney, who shrugs.

Courtney: She has been with us for, what, 50 hours? I don't take her criticism to heart.

Nubia buts in,

Nubia: Because, as I said, she only cares about what her own opinion is.

Courtney shakes her head while Probst then does his best to keep the night flowing, moving on with questioning, asking Colton how he feels Nubia's presence has shaken up the game. Colton says that although a lot has yet to be known until after the last vote, he feels as though she has been a decent fit so far, something that makes Courtney scrunch up her face. Jeff notes Courtney's reaction, causing Jessica to glare at her, as he questions if Colton cares to elaborate.

Colton: (Awkward chuckle) Well, look at it, we got rid of Brittany, Norman, and Sierra. All who proved to be.... err, problematic. Although I didn't see this more... abrasive side of Nubia, I still think that she's more what we as a tribe represent than anyone else who has departed so far.

After contorting her face to the first half of his statement, Nubia smiles upon hearing the end. However, Courtney points out that she hopes the trend of sending trouble makers home continues, making eye contact with Nubia.

Nubia: Woooow, you've got a real hate on for me tonight, haven't you?

Courtney: (Puts hands up innocently) Shots were fired first from your end, don't pin this on me.

Jeff takes this opportunity to ask Courtney if, although she ultimately benefitted, she regrets not trying to vote out the relatives of the other occupants of Isolation Island.

Courtney: I mean, no, they were si-...

For a moment, her sentence trails off, earning Phobos' attention, before Courtney continues.

Courtney: We needed to keep our tribe strong, to not continue losing. Clearly it didn't work. But, with that said, it would've just improved my Dad's chances of returning anyway, which I did not want.

Nubia flicks her head in Courtney's direction.

Jeff Probst: So, Phobos...

Phobos sits up straight in his seat, as Jay glances over at him.

Jeff Probst: Tonight, now that the twins and a returning player are officially in the game, how do you vote; keep the tribe strong, or eliminating the blood relation pairings?

The camera shows a close-up of the sick and physically weakened Courtney, before panning over to Ebonie's sister, Nubia. Colton pays close attention to his answer.

Phobos: (Sighs) I honestly don't know, Jeff.

This earns an exaggerated response from Courtney, who looks bewildered.

Jeff Probst (Entertained): Really?

Courtney (Surprised): Really?

Jessica nudges Colton's leg.

Courtney (Quietly): (To Phobos) I thought you were sticking to the plan?

Noticing this interaction, Probst calls it out, and Courtney happily says it for everyone to hear. This time, Colton nudges Jessica's knee, while Jay anxiously rubs his face. Nubia throws her hands up in excitement.

Nubia (Loudly): The plan, the plan; I keep hearing about this plan! Like, if we're all grown enough to sit here and be blunt with one another, as we have, lets just say it-

Courtney: Alright. You're-

Nubia (Loudly): I'm the plan!

Jeff sits back, stunned, while Jessica leans over and whispers into Colton's ear. Upon seeing this, Jay follows suit and leans over into Phobos' ear.

Nubia: Well, guess what, you're my plan, too, bitch.

Speechless, Courtney does nothing but huff and throw her hands into the air.

Courtney: And the name-calling begins.

Nubia: (Nods) I guess so, yes it does.

Courtney: (Nods) Classy.

Nubia: Never claimed to have class, girl.

Courtney: Certainly not.

Even Probst can't help but chuckle.

Courtney: ...For real.

Nubia: Fo real.

At this moment, Phobos can be seen mouthing something to Colton and Jessica, which makes Colton lean back into Jessica's ear.

Nubia: (Flicks head) ...But, I do.

With a slight smirk, completely unsure of what's about to happen, Jessica shakes her head and buries it into her hands.

Jeff Probst: Well, it has certainly been an exciting night, it's time to see how this all pans out. (Points to Jay) Jay, you're up.

As Jay stands and begins the walk to vote , the camera pans over to a nervous Nubia. Meanwhile, Courtney runs her hands through her greasy hair. Jay approaches the voting station, which has a butterfly symbol etched into its surface, and removes a menacing looking paper weight that's designed to look like a beetle, incrusted with dark red diamond spots on its back and for eyes. Grabbing ahold of the marker, he removes the top and hesitates, leaning over the table for a moment to think. begins to scribble down her vote, beginning with a 'N'.

I.... can't believe I'm doing this, (shakes head) but I need to vote with the group. I don't know what's going to happen tonight, but... I think this could be it. Good luck, and if this is tonights deciding vote, I'm sorry.

–Jay (voting for Courtney)

Hesitating for a second, Jay removes the lid from the voting urn, places his ballot inside, then walks back to join the rest of his tribe mates. Colton is then shown walking into the voting booth, once again running his fingers over the etched butterfly symbol on the table and looking around. 'Where are you?' , he mumbles, 'have you been found?' . After a sigh, he then grabs onto the marker.

I really wish I could play this game with you, (shakes head) but I can't. Jumping ship on a whim just wouldn't be smart for me. I'm sorry, I really am, you got a raw deal in this game. Hope after this experience is done you and I can grab a beer.

–Colton (voting for Nubia)

In a montage highlighting their trek to the voting booth, Courtney, Nubia, and Jessica are shown. Phobos is the final person to place his ballot into the urn, turning around and rejoining his tribe with a sigh.

Jeff Probst: (Nods) I'll go tally the votes...

As Jeff momentarily disappoears, showing Nubia praying while Jay reaches out and sympathetically places his hand onto a nauseous Courtney's leg.

Jeff Probst: If anyone has the hidden immunity idol and would like to play it, now would be the time to do so.

No one says a word as they all look around to one another, in particular Nubia and Courtney don't hide the fact from one another that they're most concerned about each other, making eye contact. However, nobody rises from their seat.

Jeff Probst: Once the votes are read the decision is final, the person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. I'll read the votes.

Jay taps his foot nervously, watching as Jeff reaches in and pulls out the first vote.

Jeff Probst: Courtney.

Tilting her head to the side, Courtney remains straight-faced. Jay looks over to Phobos as Jeff reaches into the urn and grabs ahold of the next ballot, opening it up, reading it, pausing for a second, then turning it around.

Jeff Probst: Courtney.

Courtney sucks her teeth, giving a dirty look in Colton and Jessica's direction, as Jessica glances from Jeff, to Colton, and then back to Jeff.

Jeff Probst: Nubia.

Refusing to give Courtney any satisfaction, Nubia fakes an enthused expression. Courtney rolls her eyes.

Jeff Probst: Nubia. That's two votes Nubia, two votes Courtney.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Courtney looks over to Jay with a smirk. Nubia watches Probst intently, as another ballot is pulled from the urn.

Jeff Probst: Courtney.

Courtney's eyes widen as her mouth parts,

Courtney: Oh, (breath) really?

She says, turning her head to look at the faces around her. Although Nubia looks proud, Colton looks confused. As Jeff opens the final vote, he looks down to the name written upon it, then looks to the castaways sitting before him. Courtney cuffs his hands over the lower half of her face as Nubia holds her breath. Phobos, who's looking to the ground, glances up.

Jeff Probst: Fifth person voted out of Survivor: Anambas... Courtney.

Bowing her head between her legs in disappointment, Courtney is left speechless. Nubia, however, claps her hands loudly together and clenches her fist in victory; 'Yes!', she claims. Annoyed by this, Courtney looks up and over to Nubia, commenting sarcastically on her great sportsmanship. Nubia doesn't respond vocally, instead giving Courtney a wave goodbye while sticking out her tongue mockingly. With a smile, Jessica looks over to Colton, believing her had played a part in voting to keep Nubia, even though he wasn't. Although he has no idea what has happened, Colton forces a grin back to her. Jay looks dejected, while Phobos does his best to hide his smug smirk.

With a long exhale, Courtney stands from her seat.

Courtney (Sarcastically): Great.

As she walks around the hind side of the group, grabbing her torch, Nubia takes the opportunity to make one final dig. She turns around in her seat, telling Courtney to make sure to take nice care of herself now that she has the opportunity, and to consider making a doctors appointment. Deciding to take the higher road, Courtney doesn't say anything in return, instead just shaking her head as she walks her torch over to Probst, setting it down before him.

Jeff Probst: Courtney,

She huffs, shaking her head, looking pissed off.

Jeff Probst: The tribe has spoken.

Courtney: Yep.

He then reaches out with the infamous snuffer, putting out her flame.

Jeff Probst: It's time for you to go.

Before departing, she turns around, sharing final words mostly meant for Phobos and Jay.

Courtney: I would've been loyal...

She then turns around, disappearing behind the side of the burning radio tower. While Phobos bows his head, slightly ashamed, Jay gives her a final wave goodbye.

Jeff Probst: If it's one thing tonight has taught you, it's that anything can happen, and anyone can find a way in.

The camera shows a close-up of an ecstatic Nubia, unable to believe she survived the vote.

Jeff Probst: Head on back to camp, goodnight.

The five castaways of the Admiral tribe who have survived tribal council then all stand, grab their belongings and their torches, and exit in a single file line. Resulting in a row of small, bopping dots of light, following down the trail in one final aerial shot.
