Good-Bye and Good Riddance is the fifth episode of Survivor: The Sahara.

Previously on Survivor...

After Jo's elimination, the remaining Kufras found peace for the first time. Giselle had them elect, a leader, and everyone voted for Drayden for their leader. The reward challenge revealed a double elimination would occur in two days time. Kufra won the reward of spying on Scorpio's tribal council with pizza and beer, but had to vote someone out before they could enjoy it.

Later at the immunity challenge, two of the fourteen castaways would win immunity for their tribal councils. VJ and Katniss won immunity. Because of VJ's win, many alliances at Kufra had to fall back on their back up plans. At Kufra's tribal council, they voted out Felicity because of her laziness. Afterward, the united Scorpio voted out Grimsley, because his lack of socialization and stupidity. Fifteen remain, who'll be voted out tonight?

Challenges

Immunity Challenge: Sumo in Mud
Each player would use a sandbag to push against the other player. First one to push the other one into the mudpit wins that round. After all seven rounds, whoever has the most points wins.
Winner: Scorpio

Story

Night 11

The six Kufras returned to their camp. Roberta began a fire.

“	I feel so stupid for voting Felicity out, I have no other allies. VJ seems logical, but I'm not 100% sure I can trust him, plus the Outsiders Alliance has Drayden. If we go to tribal VJ would go home for sure.	”
–Giselle

The six Kufras then went to sleep in their shelter.

Scorpio arrived from its first tribal council. No one seems overly affected.

“	We went to our first tribal council, it wasn't too bad, but hopefully I don't wind up back there.	”
–Aleskan

After Katniss began the fire, the remaining Scorpios fell asleep.

Day 12

Both tribes received treemail instructing them to go to the challenge area. Everyone presumed it was a reward challenge. Both tribes walked to their mats. Jeff was standing there and behind him were fifteen discs. Jeff then announved that Felicity and Grimsley were sent home yesterday.

Jeff: "You guys are probably wondering what's going on? Well, drop your buffs, because this is a tribal swap. Everyone will stand on a disc, and when I call your name, reveal what's under it. If the disc is red, your part of the Scorpio tribe, if it is purple, you are part of the Kufra tribe. However there is one black disc, which means you are going to Exile Island until after the next tribal council, where you'll replace the person voted out. Everyone go on a disc."

All fifteen castaways go stand on a disc.

Jeff: "Aleskan, VJ, reveal."

Both men reveal purple discs.

Jeff: "VJ, Aleskan, you both are part of the new Kufra tribe. Montana, Dawn, reveal."

Both reveal red discs.

Jeff: "Montana, Dawn, go to the Scorpio mat. Hibiki, Jeremy, reveal."

Hibiki reveals a red disc. Jeremy has a purple disc.

Jeff: "Hibiki, go to Scorpio, Jeremy to Kufra. Bianca, Devin reveal."

Both reveal red discs. Both go to Scorpio

Jeff: "Drayden, Giselle."

Both reveal a purple disc underneath, and both go to Kufra.

Jeff: "Katniss, Roberta, reveal."

Katniss reveals to have a purple disc. Robert has a red disc.

Jeff: "Katniss, to Kufra. Roberta to Scorpio. Gwendolyn, Judas, Lilly-Bo, reveal."

Judas reveals a red disc, going to Scorpio. Gwendolyn has the black disc, sending her to exile. Lilly-Bo has a purple disc, going to Kufra.

Jeff: "Judas, Lilly-Bo to your tribes. Gwendolyn, you have to go to exile."

Jeff hands Gwendolyn a map to Exile Island, and she heads out.

Jeff: "These are your new tribes. Any personal items of yours will be moved to your new camp. Head on out."

The new Kufra tribe arrived at their campsite. The four Kufras that didn't switch showed them around their campsite. Drayden left them to get water to boil.

“	Ah, it's nice to have some new people at camp, it's refreshing to know that both tribes are equal.	”
–Drayden

“	Right now, I have to get someone on our side, because right now me, Katniss, and Jeremy are in the minority, and I swore to protect them. Otherwise to them it's good-bye and good riddance.	”
–Aleskan

Giselle walked up to VJ in the shelter and began to talk to him.

Giselle: "I need to talk to you."

VJ: "What about?"

Giselle: "An alliance, because right now, we're ally-less, so it's best we team up."

VJ: "Okay, but what else are you going to do, I mean two people can't successfully vote someone out."

Giselle: "Easy, I'll talk to Aleskan and his buddies to vote with us tomorrow."

VJ: "Giselle, this better work."

Giselle: "It should."

Over at Scorpio, Roberta and Devin were given a tour of Scorpio's camp. Dawn begins a fire to boil water for dinner.

“	When I arrived to the Scorpio camp, it was so nice, and clean. Their shelter was elevated and used the tarp as a door. This is paradise.	”
–Roberta

At Exile Island, Gwendolyn grabs the clue out of the urn and goes to the shelter, where her personal items are.

“	I decided not to go out to find the idol. I'll give the clue to a member of my new tribe that I trust, so they can find the idol.	”
–Gwendolyn

Gwendolyn gets some water from the oasis and puts it over the fire she started. She then opens her book and begins to read.

Day 13

The next day at Kufra, Aleskan, Katniss, and Jeremy are approached by Giselle.

Giselle: "I want to talk about voting with us."

Katniss: "And us you mean?"

Giselle: "Me and VJ, to vote out Drayden."

Jeremy: "Okay."

Giselle: "Well if you guy vote with us it's more than enough to get hims out."

Aleskan: "We'll vote with you at the next vote."

Giselle: "That's great!"

Giselle walks away from them, and they continue to talk.

Jeremy: "Alright, right now we have two possibilities, vote with Drayden and Lilly-Bo to get VJ out or vote with Giselle and VJ to get Drayden out."

Katniss: "What do you want to do Aleskan?"

Aleskan: "Let's just cross that bridge, when we get to it."

“	*Sighs* I didn't realize how dysfunctional Kufra was, everyone's targeting each other, this is harder than on Scorpio. I hope I don't regret my decision.	”
–Aleskan

Day 14

Both tribes got treemail instructing them to go to the challenge area. Both tribes arrive to the challenge area. They notice an elevated platform and a makeshift mud pit. Jeff then explains the challenge:

Jeff: "Each player uses a sandbag to push against another player. First one to push the other one into the mudpit wins that round. After all seven rounds, whoever has the most points wins. I'll give you a minute to strategize."

The first up on the platform is Aleskan and Devin. Both men charge at each other. The meet in the middle, with both barely budging. Aleskan then begins to push Devin to the edge. Devin then falls into the mud pit, with Aleskan scoring the first point for Kufra. The second round is Lilly-Bo and Dawn. Both women begin to run toward each other. Dawn then begins to push Lilly-Bo to the edge. Lilly-Bo struggles to push Dawn back. Eventually Dawn pushes Lilly-Bo into the mud pit, scoring a point for Scorpio. The third round is Katniss versus Roberta. Katniss charges straight at Roberta. She bumps into Roberta. The force of Katniss causes Roberta to stumble backward into the mud pit. Kufra leads 2-1. The fourth round is Jeremy versus Judas. Judas begins to run toward Jeremy. Jeremy, at the last second, steps out of the way, but Judas was not fooled. He then pushed him into the pit. The tribes are tied 2-2. The fifth round is Giselle versus Montana. The two women run toward each other. Giselle, who is slightly more physical than Montana, begins to push her back. Giselle gets Montana to fall over the platform's edge into the mud pit. Kufra leads 3-2. The sixth round is Drayden versus Bianca. Both run at each other. Bianca begins to push Drayden toward the edge. Drayden struggles to push Bianca back. Bianca then has Drayden go over the edge and into the mud pit. The tribes are tied 3-3. The final round is Hibiki versus VJ. Both men charge at each other. The two are equal in strength, with neither budging. VJ then looses his footing and Hibiki easily pushes VJ over the edge. Scorpio leads 4-3.

Jeff: "Congratulations, Scorpio, on another win. Kufra I'll be seeing you at tribal council again. You may head out."

Later at the Kufra camp, the two groups approach Aleskan on voting with them. He says yes to both.

Katniss: "Have you decided what to do?"

Aleskan: "Yes, we are going to vote Giselle."

Jeremy: "What, why?"

Aleskan: "We need to send a message, we're in charge, and not some swing votes, plus how divided they are, they'll never see it coming."

Later, Kufra heads over to the tribal council area. Everyone puts their torches behind them and takes a seat.

Jeff: "So Jeremy, how was the change from Scorpio to Kufra?"

Jeremy: "As Aleskan was the leader of his old tribe, was there any conflict between you two?"

Drayden: "Oh, goodness no, we did briefly talk, and we decided to be the leader of our orignial tribes, so we don't butt heads."

Jeff: "Giselle, you and Felicity were close, what happened after her elimination?"

Giselle: "Well, Jeff I took it hard, but I know she want me to kick ass for both of us."

Jeff: "Katniss, do you feel vulnerable tonight?"

Katniss: "Oh, no. There are two groups between the Kufras, and both approached us. We decided on a person and we're voting against this person."

Jeff: "Aleskan, who are you guys voting against?"

Aleskan: "I'd rather not talk about it."

Jeff: "All right, then. VJ, in previous tribal councils, you've been a target, do you feel like you're going home?"

VJ: "Oh (bleep) no. I know who's voting with me, and I'm pretty much safe."

Jeff: "Lilly-Bo, is there anything you'd like to say."

Lilly-Bo: "Yes. May the best man win."

Jeff: "Alright, it's time to vote, Jeremy, you're up."

One by one each castaway votes. After they finish voting Jeff goes and gets the urn.

Jeff: "If anyone has a hidden immunity idol, you may play it now. Alright, once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. First vote.....Drayden. VJ. Drayden, he leads 2-1. VJ, we're tied 2-2. Next vote......Giselle. Giselle. We have a three way tie. The sixth person voted out of Survivor: The Sahara......Giselle. Please bring up your torch."

Giselle, in shock, bring up her torch.

Jeff: "Giselle, the tribe has spoken."

Giselle waves good-bye to her tribemates, and then leaves the tribal council area.

Jeff: "Even after a switch, Kufra is still divided. Gwendolyn will join you guys soon. Head on out."

The six Kufras leave the tribal council area, half of them stunned on what just happened.
