This is the season finale of Survivor: The Caribbean.

Previously on Survivor[]

36 days ago, 20 strangers were abandoned off the coast of the Caribbean for an adventure of a lifetime. For the first time ever, everyone's on the same tribe, thus making alliances more difficult and loyalties more fluid. They were then divided into three tribes: The Sabana and Jivaro tribes enjoyed numerous successes at the expense of the Taino tribe losing multiple Immunity Challenges. When the tribes merged, multiple blindsides shook the game, and with the dust settled, only five remain:

AnarchyAngela
Angela. This athletic mom has been at the bottom throughout the merge, but has survived without receiving a vote. Will she be able to make it all the way?

AnarchyAudrey
Audrey. She proved she can be more than just a pretty face. This racecar driver consistently stirred up controversy without taking much blame, while keeping everyone on their toes. Will she be able to slither her way to the end, or will she be finally caught red handed?

AnarchyDamon
Damon. This drag queen battled through the elements and his emotions the entire game. After receiving bad news from home, Damon dug deep, finding idols, and becoming a bonafide strategist. Does he have enough left in the tank to win it all?

AnarchyGilbert
Gilbert. This disgraced politician wanted redemption from the very beginning, but his reputation hindered him to forge long lasting bonds. He has received a record breaking number of 21 votes, the most of any one-time survivor contestant. Will he be able to fight all the odds and win it all?

AnarchyJayden
Jayden. He has closed off himself from the start, but learned to open up, building relationships. He has been literally undefeated in the individual challenges, winning every single one, putting a big target on himself. Does he have more than challenge strength to be the next Sole Survivor?

Find out who among these five castaways will become the Sole Survivor! *cue intro*

Challenges[]

Day 37 Immunity Challenge: Puddle, Grapple, Puzzle
The survivors will have to find puzzle ladder rungs in a mud pit, use these rungs to assemble a ladder to reach the top of a tower. Once at the top of the ladder, they must use a grappling hook to retrieve five nets containing puzzle pieces from the ground. Once assembled, the puzzle forms a pyramid. First person to assemble the pyramid wins immunity.
Winner: Jayden

Day 38 Immunity Challenge: Simmotion
With one hand tied behind their back, each survivor will drop a ball into a metal chute. The ball travels down a spiraling metal track and exits out of one of two points. A turnstile gate in the middle of the track causes the balls to alternate exits. The contestant must catch the ball and drop it back into the chute at the top. At designated intervals, an additional ball is added to the track until eight balls are simultaneously in play. If a ball exits the track and is not caught at any time, the castaway is eliminated from the challenge. Last person standing wins.
Winner: Jayden

Story[]

Night 36[]

The Ebirt Degrem tribe returns to camp, and Jayden lashes out at Audrey and Damon for selling him out. Audrey argues Jayden sold them out first, further castigating the model for committing the same mistake Taylor did to him days before. Damon states he got the feeling that he and Kai did not trust him, and asks Jayden why he didn't want him to have the idol clue. Jayden stands silent now his distrust of Damon is exposed.

AnarchyJayden “I got creeaaamed tonight. Finesse is crucial in this game, and if you don't have it, people will easily see straight through you. I'm now public enemy number 1. All I can hope for is to continue my winning streak til the end.”
Jayden

Angela and Gilbert stand by the fire as Jayden argues with Audrey and Damon. Gilbert wants to exploit this rift to lure Jayden to their side, but Angela reminds him of Damon's Hidden Immunity Idol, which adds another layer of complexity to the game.

AnarchyAngela “Jayden's now on his own, and Gil wants him on our side, but Damon's idol is in play, and we don't know if he's using it for himself or for Audrey. We could get Jayden side with us, but if Damon uses the idol on the right person, we're back on square one again.”
Angela

Day 37[]

The final five arrive at their next Immunity Challenge, where Jayden explains he could be next if he loses this challenge.

Jayden takes an early lead by finding all of his rungs first, followed by Angela and Audrey. Gilbert is in fourth while Damon fails to find his last rung. Audrey steals the lead by assembling her ladder first. Gilbert catches by making quick work with the ladder. Audrey is struggling to use her grappling hook, opening the door for Jayden and Angela. Jayden regains his lead by successfully hooking his puzzle pieces. Jayden begins assembling his puzzle, while Angela pulls away from Audrey, who's still out trying to nab her last bag of pieces. Gilbert and Damon catch up to them. Audrey quickly closes the gap between her and Jayden, making quick work of her puzzle. Audrey accidentally kicks one of her pieces off the tower, forcing her to go down he tower to retrieve it. Audrey returns with the puzzle piece but Jayden has just finished his puzzle, winning his seventh straight Immunity Challenge.

AnarchyAudrey “Jayden's winning streak continues, and I'm nervous as hell. Jayden's immune, Damon has the idol, so Angela and Gilbert's only logical choice is for them to vote me off. It only takes one vote to take me out, and after last night's drama, Jayden could very well vote me out.”
Audrey

Back at camp, once again, Audrey and Damon are off to one side of the beach while Angela and Gilbert are going to the opposite. Jayden on the other hand naps in the shelter.

AnarchyDamon “When we got back to camp, it's pretty indicative of where people stand in the game. Audrey and I are off one way, Angela and Gilbert are off the other way. Then there's Jayden, who's the free agent.”
Damon

AnarchyJayden “Right after the challenge I decided to go on a nap because I don't want people to come at me for game talk. I'm sick of it. I know it's the game, but it kind of wears down on me. Besides, I have immunity so there's nothing they can do against me.”
Jayden

Audrey laments her situation to Damon, telling him she could be going home since he has the idol. Damon tells her they have no choice but to convince Jayden to go back to them.

AnarchyAudrey “I'm basically on hot water right now. It's a scary thing. My name's never been written down so far, and it could very well be me going tonight.”
Audrey

Meanwhile, Angela and Gilbert are certain to vote for Audrey, though Angela worries that Damon might actually give her the idol.

AnarchyAngela “It's Audrey for us tonight, but I have a feeling Damon might screw this up and give his idol to her. We have to pull this off perfectly to prevent that from happening. We have to convince Damon there's no red herring coming his way.”
Angela

Jayden remains asleep for most of the day, making strategizing difficult for both parties. Jayden wakes up late in the afternoon and is approached by Damon, who asks him if he has made his decision. Damon reminds him that Angela and Gilbert are both eloquent speakers and they could sway a jury. Jayden states he still does not trust Audrey after everything. Damon then explains that he could use the same argument to keep Audrey, as she had backstabbed several people on the jury, and Damon also had a fair share of betrayals whereas Angela and Gilbert were both underdogs throughout the game.

AnarchyJayden “Damon's got a point. He and Audrey had orchestrated multiple betrayals and that could make me the least objectionable if we become the final three. However, how can I be sure I will make it the day after tomorrow if I don't win immunity?”
Jayden

As the tribe prepares for Tribal Council, Gilbert approaches Jayden, telling him that his challenge streak is enough to win him the million dollars, and Audrey could likely betray him as she did to several jurors. As the two men converse, Damon and Audrey are watching at a distance.

AnarchyGilbert “This is a very important Tribal Council for me. It could dictate who makes it to the final and who's not.”
Gilbert

At Tribal Council, Jeff congratulates Jayden for his seventh straight immunity win. Jeff brings up the events from last Tribal Council, where Jayden seemed to be left alone, in between two factions: Audrey and Damon, and Angela and Gilbert. Jayden confirms the assumption as correct. Audrey makes one final appeal to Jayden, reminding him she was the one who informed him about Taylor wanting to vote him off. Jayden argues that the incident was indicative of her deviousness, no matter how hard she tried to conceal it. Jayden tells Audrey, "deception surrounds your being, you and Damon." Damon reminds Jayden if Audrey did not inform Jayden of Taylor's plot, he could've been voted out then. Angela and Gilbert save Jayden, saying they only saved Jayden because of his vote. Gilbert adds that with Jayden winning challenges, it had put an increasingly bigger target on himself, thus deflecting all the attention from him to his allies. Jeff then brings up Damon's Hidden Immunity Idol. Damon explains he has a dilemma on who to use the idol for. Angela mouths to Gilbert and Jayden Damon's name. Damon notices and calls her out for it.

As the final five cast their votes, Damon, the last voter, surprisingly votes for Audrey and apologizes, saying there's nothing he can do for her. With the voting urn on the pedestal, Jeff then asks if Damon is going to use his idol. Damon nervously walks towards Jeff with the idol in his hand. In a leap of faith, Damon uses the idol for Audrey, thus canceling any votes against her. It turns out that four of the five votes are for Audrey, much to her shock. Damon becomes emotional and apologizes to Audrey for voting for him. This leaves Audrey's vote once again being the deciding vote. Audrey's vote is for Angela, which is enough to send her home.

Back at camp, Damon quickly goes to Audrey to apologize, saying he had every intention to sell her out, but he hopes to keep Audrey's trust when he gave his idol to her. Audrey comforts Damon, saying he proved his loyalty when it mattered. Damon gets a nervous breakdown, saying that what he did he never wanted to do to anyone, explaining there's a reason behind his breakdown.

AnarchyAudrey “I understand Damon voting me off, but the fact he used his idol for me when it matters goes to show where his loyalty stands. It makes my odds better because the jury will find out how fickle-minded he is.”
Audrey

AnarchyDamon “I can't believe I did that to Audrey. She was on my side for most of my time out here, and what did I give her in return? I knife on her back! I was kicked out of the house for coming out as gay. I was homeless, I had nobody; and to have friends to support me when I was alone was comforting. Audrey was helpless out there, yet I sold her out. I know I gave her the idol, but the damage has been done. It could've been a minor thing to some others, but this is something deep-seated for me.”
Damon

Day 38[]

The final four receive Tree Mail, informing them of their final Immunity Challenge. Damon continues to apologize to Audrey. Audrey, increasingly becoming more annoyed, holds him by the shoulders, yelling at him to stop freaking out.

AnarchyAudrey “Damon's insecurities is driving me nuts, and I'm getting sick of it. I basically shook Damon and said, "STOOOOPPP!!!!" Come to think of it though, this deep-seated insecurity must have something to do with his family. He must be afraid he might lose another friend and he wouldn't forgive himself if that was the case.”
Audrey

Gilbert laments being at the bottom. He has to, more than ever, win the final Immunity Challenge. Audrey hugs Gilbert, wishing him good luck.

AnarchyGilbert “I started this game strong, but since the merge, I've had a fatalistic disposition about my standing. Nothing went my way. My only chance to survive today is to win that final immunity.”
Gilbert

Jayden, Audrey, Gilbert and Damon arrive at their final Immunity Challenge.

The survivors place their first ball with with ease. Three minutes in, Jeff instructs them to add a second ball. All four castaways seem to get the hang of it until the third ball is added. Damon drops a ball and is first to be out of the challenge. After placing her fourth ball, Audrey loses her rhythm, eliminating her, leaving Gilbert and Jayden battle it out for a guaranteed spot in the final Tribal Council. A fifth ball is added, making the challenge more complicated. The two last for several more minutes until Gilbert slips up and drops a ball, winning Jayden his eighth and final immunity win. Jeff congratulates Jayden for making a clean sweep at the individual challenges.

AnarchyGilbert “The writing is on the wall for me, but I'm not giving up now.”
Gilbert

Back at camp, Gilbert makes a last ditch effort to save himself. Gilbert describes his pitch to Jayden, in which he argues that no one wanted to get to know him, rendering him unpopular with the jury. Also, Gilbert suggests they should work together and enforce a tie. Jayden asks who would he want to go up against in the fire making challenge. Gilbert insists it should be Damon, because he already had ideas on how to throw Audrey off-guard at final tribal.

AnarchyJayden “Gilbert comes up to me, saying I should work with him. I don't have any loyalties to Audrey and Damon, so to vote one of them is a viable option for me. The underlying question here is, if Gilbert is beatable. The old man had 21 votes and still survived. He could use that to sway the jury. On the other hand, you have Audrey and Damon, both of whom had backstabbed several people, also legit threats. Whichever way I go, I have to believe it's the right decision. If I don't stand up to my decision, I could cost me a million dollars.”
Jayden

As Gilbert goes fishing, Audrey approaches Jayden, asking him of his options. Jayden admits he has not made up his decision yet, but Audrey reminds him he's a politician.

AnarchyAudrey “Jayden's the swing vote here. He could force a tie between one of us (Damon) and Gilbert. I know I'm not that good at fire-making so if they vote me, I'll be dead.”
Audrey

Later, Damon reads his dad's letter one more time in the woods. With the game coming to a close, all Damon wanted is to see his ill mother. Damon admits that since his friend Taniqua gave him a letter from his family, he struggled to put aside his worry about his mom's condition.

AnarchyDamon “When I received a letter from my dad, I really was worried about mom, but at the same time, I was relieved because my dad is a tough person, and he never send letters like these. That's when my healing process started. I wanted to win, but I my mom has stage 4 breast cancer, and while I'm here, I'm not with her. What I'm scared about is going home and finding out it's too late. My family is still far more important than all these. The longer I stay here, the more anxious I become about my mom's condition.”
Damon

Damon wipes his tears goes back to discuss game with Audrey. Audrey notices Damon's puffy eyes. Damon insists she should ignore it as he was being his emotional self again. Audrey brings up Jayden being a swing vote, and there's no telling if he's going to enforce a tie.

Gilbert returns to camp with fish with Audrey approaching to collect and scale them. Audrey asks Gilbert who between her and Damon would he vote for. Gilbert admits he's leaning towards Damon because he could use his mom's condition to sway the jury. Meanwhile, Damon and Jayden are in the shelter, discussing what would they do with the million dollars. Damon brings up his mom, while Jayden admits for the first time about his brother who died of lupus, and he would want to win for his brother and donate a part of his winnings to the Lupus Foundation of America.

AnarchyDamon “This could be the first time I saw a sense of who Jayden is. This whole time he has closed off from everyone and only made connections through other aspects of himself.”
Damon

By sundown, the final four heads off to Tribal Council with complete uncertainty how the vote is going to go.

At Tribal Council, Jeff congratulates Jayden for successfully winning every individual Immunity Challenge. Jayden reminds himself of his time at Taino, losing all those challenges (Shelby giggles after hearing this). Jeff then turns on Gilbert, saying he is on hot water because the other three had some time together as an alliance. Gilbert confirms, saying his fate is now at the hands of Jayden. Audrey and Damon disagree, saying their fates are also in Jayden's hands, not knowing who will he vote for. Jeff reminds Jayden his decision could be a million dollar decision. Jeff asks about the toll on the castaways as far as home is concerned. Damon brings up his ill mother, and the longer he stays here, the more he is worried about her.

In the end, with three votes to one, Gilbert's hard-fought battle comes to an end, making him the final member of the jury. Back at camp, Jayden, Audrey and Damon congratulate themselves for making it to the final three. Jayden and Audrey proceed to sleep while Damon sits by the beach, more disturbed than ever.

Day 39[]

In the wee hours of Day 39, an emotional Damon asks production to call Jeff. Shortly after, Jeff arrives. Jeff asks what is going on. Damon expresses him being torn between the game and his mom, and how he became increasingly depressed at the thought of his mom passing while he's out on the island. He then proceeds to explain his mind is not in the right place to face a potentially angry jury as he is too preoccupied with thoughts of his mom. A sobbing Damon continues on to express his guilt for voting Gilbert and he just would've quit then. Jeff calms him down. Damon decides home is where he should be and in an unprecedented turn of events, he leaves the game on Day 39. Damon insists to not face Audrey and Jayden and just leave silently. Damon is then given the fastest flight back to New Jersey, where his family resides.

AnarchyDamon “My head is clearly not in a good place. I can't take the emotional toll any longer. I'm not in the mental capacity to face the jury, and I'm more scared that my mom would pass on without me by her side than face them. At this point for me, home is where I should be.”
Damon

The screen fades into pitch black with a message saying that Damon arrived just in time. His mom, Mrs. LaToya Hillier, succumbed to breast cancer 48 hours after Damon left the game.

Jeff then proceeds to wake Jayden and Audrey up, informing them of Damon's sudden departure from the game, and it's only the two of them who's facing the jury.

AnarchyAudrey “It's very unfortunate that Damon broke under the pressure when he afford not to be anymore. I wish him and his mom the best. Game-wise however, it's one less person to deal with, and it's on between me and Jayden.”
Audrey

AnarchyJayden “Having gotten to know Damon a little deeper yesterday, I'm sincerely saddened by him leaving. I hope this starts his healing process and have a family again.”
Jayden

The final two wake up in the morning of Day 39, and Audrey and Jayden hug each other, congratulating themselves as the final two. They notice a mirror and a weighing scale right next to a tree. Both are are shocked to see their emaciated faces. After 39 days, Audrey loset 23 lbs while Jayden lost 17 lbs. Audrey and Jayden arrive at Tree Mail, where their Day 39 breakfast awaits. The two enjoy their breakfast before heading separate ways for most of the day, rehearsing their respective jury speeches. By sundown, Audrey and Jayden set their shelter on fire before heading to Tribal Council one last time.

Audrey and Jayden arrive at Tribal Council. The jury members enter one by one, and to their shock, Damon is missing. Jeff explains Damon's depression and worry for his mom's condition made decide to quit the game in the wee hours of Day 39. There are mixed reactions from the jury. Taylor is annoyed, Gilbert, who was voted out before Damon quit, is upset Damon didn't make that decision before he got voted out, Shelby is emotional for Damon's dilemma, and Joseph, Damon's closest friend, promises to pray for Damon. With the unpredictable nature of Damon's exit, Jeff insists the jury to collect themselves and rethink of their jury questions before they start.

Jeff calls Craig to speak first.

Quote1Good evening guys. No hard feelings on my end. You both deserve it. You both earned it. I would've put all my energies on Damon, but oh well. Since I was pegged to start this off without you guys delivering an opening speech, here's your chance to tell this jury why you're deserving the title of Sole Survivor and the million dollars that comes with it (that sounds like Jeff *laughs*)Quote2- Craig
Quote1Hey, good evening guys. I know most of you have reservations about me because I was closed off for most of the game. I did that on purpose. I have trust issues, and I find it hard to trust people, and this game definitely magnified it. However, I was social when I needed to be, strategic when I needed to be, and physical when I needed to be. I was part of that God-forsaken Taino tribe that can't win a single challenge, but I proved I can win individual challenges, and I had a flawless record. The last three Tribal Councils, I would've been next if it weren't for that necklace, and towards the end, I was at my most strategic. Socially I know I wasn't the best, but I made the most of my stay here. I dug deep, I never slacked off at camp, and won my way here. That is all.Quote2- Jayden
Quote1That is tough to follow. I know I played a flawed game. I was building a house out of sand pretty much. I didn't realize my alliance imploded because of me, and I take responsibility for it. Socially however, I have made genuine relationships with everyone, and that's where my game is mostly hinged on. I used that to further my strategic game. Twice in this game I managed to turn the vote around using only my vote; I voted Shelby out, I voted Angela out. Neither of us are the best strategists, but my game is better because of the relationships I made. I apologize for those hurt by my actions, and while I'll hold myself accountable for my actions, I have to stand up to the things I did in this game. I hope you respect my game enough to see I'm the right fit for the title.Quote2- Audrey
Quote1Great speeches. Thank you both.Quote2- Craig

Janice is next.

Quote1I have a problem. I was going to vote for Damon and ignore you both, but he left so what can I do? I have to choose between the two of you. If I can abstain myself from voting, I would, because I thought Damon played the best game. My question to you both is, why do you deserve my vote more than Damon. Audrey I'll start with you.Quote2- Janice
Quote1I deserve it more than Damon because Damon was a neurotic mess. I had to talk him out of his internal monologues. He would've been voted out at Jivaro but he had the idol. Again, I am not better than Damon strategically, but I was Damon's voice of reason. The person you wanted to vote for stayed this long at my expense.Quote2- Audrey
Quote1*nods* Strong answer. Jayden?Quote2- Janice
Quote1Damon had to be picked up several times. I was with him at Sabana at one point, and you take off his strategy, I have no doubt in my mind you wouldn't have thought of voting for him.Quote2- Jayden

It's Joseph's turn:

Quote1I'm frustrated because Janice, I would've voted for Damon too, but this is the situation we're at. Audrey, I have no beef with you. You played a flawless social game. Jayden, there's no question about your performance in challenge. You're giving Ozzy a run for his money, but socially, you're so secretive. I found it hard to get to know you, and by the looks of it, you're not a sociable person at the slightest. But hey you're here. My question to you is, was the fact that your tribe lost all those times yet you swept all the individual challenges indicative that you weren't a team player?Quote2- Joseph
Quote1Shelby and Kai could attest I can be a team player if need be. Lady luck just wasn't on our side then. Being a recluse is who I am, but I wasn't completely closed off...Quote2- Jayden
Quote1...You were. You haven't said a word to me outside strategy.Quote2- Joseph
Quote1I know, and I guess I'm paying for it now. This game is about balancing things, balancing revealing myself and playing this game, and maybe I wasn't good at it. I'm sorry I was a snob to you, and I hope we get to have booze sometime.Quote2- Jayden
Quote1I don't drink...Quote2- Joseph
Quote1Coffee then?Quote2- Jayden
Quote1Okay... that's an awkward turn *laughs*Quote2- Joseph

Shelby goes next:

Quote1Good evening guys. I came here thinking I would vote for either Jayden or Damon, but since Damon is not here, my attention goes to you, Audrey. Unlike Jayden, I had a working relationship with him. I must say it would take a lot before Jayden sheds his true self. He's fun to be around. You however, we never talked. Everything the jury has dumped on Jayden so far, I felt those from you. We never talked. We never bonded. I had zero sense of who you are. You claim to be better at the social aspect of the game yet you never said a word to me. My question to you is, why do you think you deserve to win more than Jayden?Quote2- Shelby
Quote1I deserve to win more than Jayden is that, in this game, you don't force people to play your game, you have to play their game. From my personal experience working with Jayden, trying to get to know him is like pulling teeth. I on the other hand, I made sure I made tabs with at least more people. My problem with talking to you is, you're too smart and had too many connections. So I had to limit my interactions with you, maybe too much.Quote2- Audrey

Angela's turn:

I have no negative comments to either of you. What I have to say though is that the consensus of the jury is that, neither of you, even Damon, are incomplete packages. You both sucked strategically, and were carried by Damon to get yourselves there. Audrey, I found you a very smart, tough, young woman. I want my daughter to be just like you. We were never on the same side, but I love you. Jayden, you were great in challenges, and the most hardworking person at camp. This makes my vote more difficult that it should be.

–Angela

Kai's next to speak:

Quote1Audrey, you played an impressive well-rounded game, relatively to Jayden's. Your social game is arguably better, but you were in times wishy washy. You're the one who revealed Taylor was plotting against Jayden but you went back. Jayden, you on the other hand, people accuse you of being a loner and all, but kept your cool when everyone's freaking out, though on the Taylor vote you snapped. My question to you both is, what will you take home from this experience?Quote2- Kai
Quote1I learned that opening myself up to people is okay, and I definitely will try to be out there showing the world who Jayden is.Quote2- Jayden
Quote1Audrey?Quote2- Kai
Quote1I will finally show people that I'm not just a pretty face. I came to this game feeling like I'll be typecasted as a shallow valley girl. That's why I got into racecar driving. Hopefully after this experience my dates wouldn't be too protective of me, or would think I'm this meek pretty girl.Quote2- Audrey

Ivy is the sixth juror to speak:

Quote1Hello guys. I don't need anything from you. Jayden, I relate myself to you in a way because I myself don't connect with people that easily. Audrey, you're an aspiration. Women everywhere should be as tough as you. My question to you both is, why is the other person deserving of the title? Jayden, you go first.Quote2- Ivy
Quote1Audrey is a tough cookie. Heck, I thought she would last a day out here, but she gotten to prove she's a badass. If was her date, I wouldn't see her as a weak girl.Quote2- Jayden
Quote1Audrey?Quote2- Ivy
Quote1Jayden deserves to win because for most of the game, he had kept his composure. Most people would've freaked out while out here, but Jayden, as stoic as he was, I think it worked for him.Quote2- Audrey
Quote1Thank you for your answers.Quote2- Ivy

Taylor is the second to last to speak:

I'm pissed. You both, out of everyone, are sitting here. Audrey, you posed yourself as the one who held our alliance together, yet you turned on Jayden the same way you turned on me. You're a hypocrite as far as I'm concerned. Jayden, without your winning streak, you're nothing. You presented nothing to the table other than doing good at challenges, which for me is questionable. My vote is out there, and I don't like it because it's the two of you whom I have to choose a winner from.

–Taylor

Gilbert is last to speak:

First off, I have to thank you both for giving me a record total of 24 votes. Jokes aside, I am quite upset too, but not because of the two of you, but the fact I got robbed of the chance to be there sitting next to the two of you. Damon should've quit yesterday and let me sit there. What I'm more upset about is that, I was isolated the entire game being the poster child of a disgraced politician. None of you gave me a chance to explain myself. None of you tried to get to know me. I've been a leper in the 38 days I was here. Audrey, you said you tried your best to get to know people, but certainly you never tried with me. Jayden, your winning streak is impossible, but commendable. However, I find it hard voting for you because we barely had a connection. You see, after I was removed from office, I lived a private life and barely talked to anyone, and certainly you made me feel that way even here. I was never given a chance. What's worse is, it's the same thing both of you wanted out of this experience other than the money. Jayden says he wants to express himself more, while Audrey wants to be treated as a strong woman. Why did you two get a chance to be heard while I did't? It saddened me that the stigma carried over here. It's painful, that when you have a reputation, it's hard to change it, especially when you're a politician. I need nothing from both of you. I know who to vote for.

–Gilbert

After Gilbert's speech, Jeff then gives the jury ample time to think about their votes. After voting, Jeff takes the urn and walks away from Tribal Council.

Months after, Audrey's relatively stronger strategic and social game win her the title of Sole Survivor, with six votes to Jayden's three.
