Cress Brooke is a contestant from Survivor: Vatulele.

Cress is remembered for fighting from the bottom since the beginning of the game. Despite being strong in challenges and in will, Cress did not click with most of his tribe and found himself on the bottom with allies Cornelia Muttano and Emilia Hinderlie. Despite gaining some traction on the tribe, especially with Talula Citadels, he still remained mostly on the bottom. He managed to make it to the swap, where he lost his last ally in Cornelia when she and an ex-tribemate, Jolyon Xu, went for each other. All alone in the game, Cress did his best to stay in, making a valiant effort and almost convincing people to keep him in the game over the manipulative and unreliable Tungsten Scotte. However, the tribe decided he would be too dangerous at the impending merge as a free agent with a strong social game, and voted him out at 11th place.

Profile[]

Name (Age): Cress Brooke (36)

Tribe Designation: Taunovo

Current Residence: Indianapolis, Indiana

Occupation: Professional Linebacker for the Indiana Colts

Claim to Fame: Playing in the NFL for the past 15 years

Inspiration in Life: My high school coach, Mr. Papill, drove me to become the great man I am today, challenging me both on the field, in the classroom, and out in the world.

Hobbies: Watching/playing sports, meeting fans, trying beers, camping

Pet Peeves: Nags, Buttkissers, Not putting 110% effort in

3 Words to Describe You: Strong, Driven, Determined

If You Could Have 3 Things on The Island What Would They Be and Why:

  1. A football to play around with
  2. Soap and shampoo to keep clean
  3. Dr. Pepper. Drinking that stuff gets me pumped before every game, and I’ll be missing that boost before challenges.

SURVIVOR Contestant You Are Most Like: I believe I am pretty similar to James Clement. We’re both muscular, strong guys who will do many of the tasks around camp and are pretty likable. I don’t plan to get voted out with an idol, however!

Reason for Being on SURVIVOR: My wife Penelope is a huge fan. She has bad asthma and can’t compete well, but she’s urged me to try it for her, and I certainly will. I started watching with her last year to get prepared, and I’ve seen quite a few seasons by now; my favorite’s China.

Why You Think You’ll “Survive” SURVIVOR: I have gone camping and stuff a lot in my childhood. I grew up in Mississippi so I was used to roughing it sometimes. I’m not scared of the wilderness, and I’ll help the others survive it too.

Why You Think You Will Be the Sole SURVIVOR: I am a strong physical competitor; that fact will help me get far in this game. I am also a pretty honest and likable dude, so I think many people will realize it’s better to align with me than not, as I can be a useful ally.
